זה ספר תולדת אדם ביום ברא אלהים אדם בדמות אלהים עשה אתו
Αὕτη ἡ βίβλος γενέσεως ἀνθρώπων· ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν Αδαμ, κατ’ εἰκόνα θεοῦ ἐποίησεν αὐτόν·
This is the book of the generations of Adàmⓘ. On the day when God created Adàmⓘ, in the likeness of God he made himⓘ;

זכר ונקבה בראם ויברך אתם ויקרא את שמם אדם ביום הבראם
ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν αὐτοὺς καὶ εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς. καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν Αδαμ, ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐποίησεν αὐτούς.
male and female he created themⓘ, he blessed them and called their name Adàm, on the day when he created them.

ויחי אדם שלשים ומאת שנה ויולד בדמותו כצלמו ויקרא את שמו שת
ἔζησεν δὲ Αδαμ διακόσια καὶ τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν κατὰ τὴν ἰδέαν αὐτοῦ καὶ κατὰ τὴν εἰκόνα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Σηθ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Adàm lived two hundred and thirty yearsⓘ and begot according to his appearance and according to his imageⓘ a son, and gave him the name Setⓘ.—— Masoretic (MT) ——Adàm lived one hundred and thirty yearsⓘ and begot in his likeness, according to his imageⓘ a son, and called him Shetⓘ.

ויהיו ימי אדם אחרי הולידו את שת שמנה מאת שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
ἐγένοντο δὲ αἱ ἡμέραι Αδαμ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Σηθ ἑπτακόσια ἔτη, καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——The days of Adàm after he had begotten Set were seven hundred yearsⓘ; and he begot sons and daughters.—— Masoretic (MT) ——The days of Adàm after he had begotten Shet were eight hundred yearsⓘ; and he begot sons and daughters.

ויהיו כל ימי אדם אשר חי תשע מאות שנה ושלשים שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Αδαμ, ἃς ἔζησεν, ἐννακόσια καὶ τριάκοντα ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.
All the days that Adàm lived were nine hundred and thirty yearsⓘ; then he diedⓘ.

ויחי שת חמש שנים ומאת שנה ויולד את אנוש
Ἔζησεν δὲ Σηθ διακόσια καὶ πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ενως.

ויחי שת אחרי הולידו את אנוש שבע שנים ושמנה מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Σηθ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ενως ἑπτακόσια καὶ ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהיו כל ימי שת שתים עשרה שנה ותשע מאות שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Σηθ ἐννακόσια καὶ δώδεκα ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.
all the days of Shet were nine hundred and twelve yearsⓘ; then he died.

ויחי אנוש תשעים שנה ויולד את קינן
Καὶ ἔζησεν Ενως ἑκατὸν ἐνενήκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Καιναν.

ויחי אנוש אחרי הולידו את קינן חמש עשרה שנה ושמנה מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Ενως μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Καιναν ἑπτακόσια καὶ δέκα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהיו כל ימי אנוש חמש שנים ותשע מאות שנה וימת

all the days of Enòsh were nine hundred and five yearsⓘ; then he died.

ויחי קינן שבעים שנה ויולד את מהללאל
Καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαλελεηλ.

ויחי קינן אחרי הולידו את מהללאל ארבעים שנה ושמנה מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Μαλελεηλ ἑπτακόσια καὶ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהיו כל ימי קינן עשר שנים ותשע מאות שנה וימת

all the days of Qenàn were nine hundred and ten yearsⓘ; then he died.

ויחי מהללאל חמש שנים וששים שנה ויולד את ירד
Καὶ ἔζησεν Μαλελεηλ ἑκατὸν καὶ ἑξήκοντα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαρεδ.

ויחי מהללאל אחרי הולידו את ירד שלשים שנה ושמנה מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Μαλελεηλ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ιαρεδ ἑπτακόσια καὶ τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהיו כל ימי מהללאל חמש ותשעים שנה ושמנה מאות שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Μαλελεηλ ὀκτακόσια καὶ ἐνενήκοντα πέντε ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.
all the days of Mahalalèl were eight hundred and ninety-five yearsⓘ; then he died.

ויחי ירד שתים וששים שנה ומאת שנה ויולד את חנוך
Καὶ ἔζησεν Ιαρεδ ἑκατὸν καὶ ἑξήκοντα δύο ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ενωχ.
Yèred lived one hundred and sixty-two yearsⓘ and begot Chanòkhⓘ;
19
ויחי ירד אחרי הולידו את חנוך שמנה מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Ιαρεδ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ενωχ ὀκτακόσια ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.
and Yèred, after he had begotten Chanòkh, lived a further eight hundred yearsⓘ, and he begot sons and daughters;
20
ויהיו כל ימי ירד שתים וששים שנה ותשע מאות שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Ιαρεδ ἐννακόσια καὶ ἑξήκοντα δύο ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.
all the days of Yèred were nine hundred and sixty-two yearsⓘ; then he died.
21
ויחי חנוך חמש וששים שנה ויולד את מתושלח
Καὶ ἔζησεν Ενωχ ἑκατὸν καὶ ἑξήκοντα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαθουσαλα.

ויתהלך חנוך את האלהים אחרי הולידו את מתושלח שלש מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
εὐηρέστησεν δὲ Ενωχ τῷ θεῷ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Μαθουσαλα διακόσια ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהי כל ימי חנוך חמש וששים שנה ושלש מאות שנה
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Ενωχ τριακόσια ἑξήκοντα πέντε ἔτη.
all the days of Chanòkh were three hundred and sixty-five yearsⓘ;
24
ויתהלך חנוך את האלהים ואיננו כי לקח אתו אלהים
καὶ εὐηρέστησεν Ενωχ τῷ θεῷ καὶ οὐχ ηὑρίσκετο, ὅτι μετέθηκεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός.
Chanòkh walked with Godⓘ, and he was no moreⓘ, for God took himⓘ.
25
ויחי מתושלח שבע ושמנים שנה ומאת שנה ויולד את למך
Καὶ ἔζησεν Μαθουσαλα ἑκατὸν καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Λαμεχ.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——Matusàla lived one hundred and sixty-seven yearsⓘ and begot Làmechⓘ;—— Masoretic (MT) ——Metushèlach lived one hundred and eighty-seven yearsⓘ and begot Lèmekhⓘ;

ויחי מתושלח אחרי הולידו את למך שתים ושמונים שנה ושבע מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Μαθουσαλα μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Λαμεχ ὀκτακόσια δύο ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.

ויהיו כל ימי מתושלח תשע וששים שנה ותשע מאות שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Μαθουσαλα, ἃς ἔζησεν, ἐννακόσια καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἐννέα ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.
all the days of Metushèlach were nine hundred and sixty-nine yearsⓘ; then he died.

ויחי למך שתים ושמנים שנה ומאת שנה ויולד בן
Καὶ ἔζησεν Λαμεχ ἑκατὸν ὀγδοήκοντα ὀκτὼ ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱὸν

ויקרא את שמו נח לאמר זה ינחמנו ממעשנו ומעצבון ידינו מן האדמה אשר אררה יהוה
καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Νωε λέγων Οὗτος διαναπαύσει ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων ἡμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν λυπῶν τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, ἧς κατηράσατο κύριος ὁ θεός.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——and gave him the name Noèⓘ, saying: «This one will give us restⓘ from our works and from the toils of our handsⓘ, on account of the ground that the Tetragrammaton God has cursedⓘ».—— Masoretic (MT) ——and he called him Nòachⓘ, saying: «This one will console usⓘ from our work and from the labor of our handsⓘ, on account of the ground that the Tetragrammaton has cursedⓘ».

ויחי למך אחרי הולידו את נח חמש ותשעים שנה וחמש מאת שנה ויולד בנים ובנות
καὶ ἔζησεν Λαμεχ μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Νωε πεντακόσια καὶ ἑξήκοντα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας.
—— Septuagint (LXX) ——And Làmech, after he had begotten Noè, lived five hundred and sixty-five yearsⓘ, and he begot sons and daughters;—— Masoretic (MT) ——And Lèmekh, after he had begotten Nòach, lived a further five hundred and ninety-five yearsⓘ, and he begot sons and daughters;

ויהי כל ימי למך שבע ושבעים שנה ושבע מאות שנה וימת
καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Λαμεχ ἑπτακόσια καὶ πεντήκοντα τρία ἔτη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν.

32
ויהי נח בן חמש מאות שנה ויולד נח את שם את חם ואת יפת
Καὶ ἦν Νωε ἐτῶν πεντακοσίων καὶ ἐγέννησεν Νωε τρεῖς υἱούς, τὸν Σημ, τὸν Χαμ, τὸν Ιαφεθ.
Nòach was five hundred years oldⓘ when he begot Shem, Cham and Yèfetⓘ.
