ויאמר אלהים אל יעקב קום עלה בית אל ושב שם ועשה שם מזבח לאל הנראה אליך בברחך מפני עשו אחיך
Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Ιακωβ Ἀναστὰς ἀνάβηθι εἰς τὸν τόπον Βαιθηλ καὶ οἴκει ἐκεῖ καὶ ποίησον ἐκεῖ θυσιαστήριον τῷ θεῷ τῷ ὀφθέντι σοι ἐν τῷ ἀποδιδράσκειν σε ἀπὸ προσώπου Ησαυ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ σου.
God said to ⓘ: «Arise, go up to ⓘ and dwell there; make there an altar to the ⓘ when you ⓘ your brother».

ויאמר יעקב אל ביתו ואל כל אשר עמו הסרו את אלהי הנכר אשר בתככם והטהרו והחליפו שמלתיכם
εἶπεν δὲ Ιακωβ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς μετ’ αὐτοῦ Ἄρατε τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους τοὺς μεθ’ ὑμῶν ἐκ μέσου ὑμῶν καὶ καθαρίσασθε καὶ ἀλλάξατε τὰς στολὰς ὑμῶν,
Yaaqòv said to his ⓘ and to all who were with him: «ⓘ the ⓘ that are among you; ⓘ and ⓘ».

ונקומה ונעלה בית אל ואעשה שם מזבח לאל הענה אתי ביום צרתי ויהי עמדי בדרך אשר הלכתי
καὶ ἀναστάντες ἀναβῶμεν εἰς Βαιθηλ καὶ ποιήσωμεν ἐκεῖ θυσιαστήριον τῷ θεῷ τῷ ἐπακούσαντί μοι ἐν ἡμέρᾳ θλίψεως, ὃς ἦν μετ’ ἐμοῦ καὶ διέσωσέν με ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ, ᾗ ἐπορεύθην.

ויתנו אל יעקב את כל אלהי הנכר אשר בידם ואת הנזמים אשר באזניהם ויטמן אתם יעקב תחת האלה אשר עם שכם
καὶ ἔδωκαν τῷ Ιακωβ τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους, οἳ ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν, καὶ τὰ ἐνώτια τὰ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν αὐτῶν, καὶ κατέκρυψεν αὐτὰ Ιακωβ ὑπὸ τὴν τερέμινθον τὴν ἐν Σικιμοις καὶ ἀπώλεσεν αὐτὰ ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας.

ויסעו ויהי חתת אלהים על הערים אשר סביבתיהם ולא רדפו אחרי בני יעקב
καὶ ἐξῆρεν Ισραηλ ἐκ Σικιμων, καὶ ἐγένετο φόβος θεοῦ ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις τὰς κύκλῳ αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐ κατεδίωξαν ὀπίσω τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ.

ויבא יעקב לוזה אשר בארץ כנען הוא בית אל הוא וכל העם אשר עמו
ἦλθεν δὲ Ιακωβ εἰς Λουζα, ἥ ἐστιν ἐν γῇ Χανααν, ἥ ἐστιν Βαιθηλ, αὐτὸς καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαός, ὃς ἦν μετ’ αὐτοῦ.
Yaaqòv came to ⓘ, which is in the land of ⓘ — it is ⓘ — he and all the people who were with him.

ויבן שם מזבח ויקרא למקום אל בית אל כי שם נגלו אליו האלהים בברחו מפני אחיו
καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν ἐκεῖ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου Βαιθηλ· ἐκεῖ γὰρ ἐπεφάνη αὐτῷ ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῷ ἀποδιδράσκειν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ προσώπου Ησαυ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ.
He built there an altar and called the name of the place ⓘ, because there ⓘ when he fled from the presence of ⓘ.

ותמת דברה מינקת רבקה ותקבר מתחת לבית אל תחת האלון ויקרא שמו אלון בכות
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Δεββωρα ἡ τροφὸς Ρεβεκκας κατώτερον Βαιθηλ ὑπὸ τὴν βάλανον, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Ιακωβ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῆς Βάλανος πένθους.
ⓘ, ⓘ of Rivqàh, and she was buried below Beit-El under the ⓘ; and ⓘ ⓘ.

וירא אלהים אל יעקב עוד בבאו מפדן ארם ויברך אתו
Ὤφθη δὲ ὁ θεὸς Ιακωβ ἔτι ἐν Λουζα, ὅτε παρεγένετο ἐκ Μεσοποταμίας τῆς Συρίας, καὶ ηὐλόγησεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός.
ⓘ appeared again to Yaaqòv when ⓘ, and he blessed him.

ויאמר לו אלהים שמך יעקב לא יקרא שמך עוד יעקב כי אם ישראל יהיה שמך ויקרא את שמו ישראל
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεός Τὸ ὄνομά σου Ιακωβ· οὐ κληθήσεται ἔτι Ιακωβ, ἀλλ’ Ισραηλ ἔσται τὸ ὄνομά σου.
God said to him: «Your name is Yaaqòv; ⓘ, but ⓘ shall be your name». ⓘ.

ויאמר לו אלהים אני אל שדי פרה ורבה גוי וקהל גוים יהיה ממך ומלכים מחלציך יצאו
εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ θεός Ἐγὼ ὁ θεός σου· αὐξάνου καὶ πληθύνου· ἔθνη καὶ συναγωγαὶ ἐθνῶν ἔσονται ἐκ σοῦ, καὶ βασιλεῖς ἐκ τῆς ὀσφύος σου ἐξελεύσονται.
ⓘ said to him: «I am ⓘ; ⓘ; ⓘ shall come from you, and ⓘ shall come forth».

ואת הארץ אשר נתתי לאברהם וליצחק לך אתננה ולזרעך אחריך אתן את הארץ
καὶ τὴν γῆν, ἣν δέδωκα Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ, σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτήν· σοὶ ἔσται, καὶ τῷ σπέρματί σου μετὰ σὲ δώσω τὴν γῆν ταύτην.
«The land that I gave to Avrahàm and to ⓘ I will give to you; ⓘ».

ויעל מעליו אלהים במקום אשר דבר אתו
ἀνέβη δὲ ὁ θεὸς ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ ἐκ τοῦ τόπου, οὗ ἐλάλησεν μετ’ αὐτοῦ.
ⓘ from the place where he had spoken with him.

ויצב יעקב מצבה במקום אשר דבר אתו מצבת אבן ויסך עליה נסך ויצק עליה שמן
καὶ ἔστησεν Ιακωβ στήλην ἐν τῷ τόπῳ, ᾧ ἐλάλησεν μετ’ αὐτοῦ, στήλην λιθίνην, καὶ ἔσπεισεν ἐπ’ αὐτὴν σπονδὴν καὶ ἐπέχεεν ἐπ’ αὐτὴν ἔλαιον.
Yaaqòv set up a ⓘ in the place where he had spoken with him, a ⓘ; he poured upon it a ⓘ and poured over it ⓘ.

ויקרא יעקב את שם המקום אשר דבר אתו שם אלהים בית אל
καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Ιακωβ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου, ἐν ᾧ ἐλάλησεν μετ’ αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ ὁ θεός, Βαιθηλ.
Yaaqòv called the name of the place where ⓘ: ⓘ.

ויסעו מבית אל ויהי עוד כברת הארץ לבוא אפרתה ותלד רחל ותקש בלדתה
Ἀπάρας δὲ Ιακωβ ἐκ Βαιθηλ ἔπηξεν τὴν σκηνὴν αὐτοῦ ἐπέκεινα τοῦ πύργου Γαδερ. ἐγένετο δὲ ἡνίκα ἤγγισεν χαβραθα εἰς γῆν ἐλθεῖν Εφραθα, ἔτεκεν Ραχηλ καὶ ἐδυστόκησεν ἐν τῷ τοκετῷ.
They set out from Beit-El; there was still a ⓘ to travel in order to reach ⓘ, when ⓘ and ⓘ.

ויהי בהקשתה בלדתה ותאמר לה המילדת אל תיראי כי גם זה לך בן
ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ σκληρῶς αὐτὴν τίκτειν εἶπεν αὐτῇ ἡ μαῖα Θάρσει, καὶ γὰρ οὗτός σοί ἐστιν υἱός.
While the labour was difficult, the ⓘ said to her: «ⓘ, for this also is a son for you».

ויהי בצאת נפשה כי מתה ותקרא שמו בן אוני ואביו קרא לו בנימין
ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ ἀφιέναι αὐτὴν τὴν ψυχήν – ἀπέθνῃσκεν γάρ – ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Υἱὸς ὀδύνης μου· ὁ δὲ πατὴρ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὸν Βενιαμιν.
It came to pass, while ⓘ — for she was dying — that she called his name ⓘ; but his father called him ⓘ.

ותמת רחל ותקבר בדרך אפרתה הוא בית לחם
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Ραχηλ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ Εφραθα [αὕτη ἐστὶν Βηθλεεμ].
ⓘ and was buried on the way to ⓘ — it is ⓘ.
20
ויצב יעקב מצבה על קברתה הוא מצבת קברת רחל עד היום
καὶ ἔστησεν Ιακωβ στήλην ἐπὶ τοῦ μνημείου αὐτῆς· αὕτη ἐστὶν στήλη μνημείου Ραχηλ ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας.
Yaaqòv set up a matzevàh over her tomb: it is the ⓘ ⓘ.

ויהי בשכן ישראל בארץ ההוא וילך ראובן וישכב את בלהה פילגש אביו וישמע ישראל ויהיו בני יעקב שנים עשר
Ἐγένετο δὲ ἡνίκα κατῴκησεν Ισραηλ ἐν τῇ γῇ ἐκείνῃ, ἐπορεύθη Ρουβην καὶ ἐκοιμήθη μετὰ Βαλλας τῆς παλλακῆς τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἤκουσεν Ισραηλ, καὶ πονηρὸν ἐφάνη ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ. Ἦσαν δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ιακωβ δώδεκα.

בני לאה בכור יעקב ראובן ושמעון ולוי ויהודה ויששכר וזבולן
υἱοὶ Λειας· πρωτότοκος Ιακωβ Ρουβην, Συμεων, Λευι, Ιουδας, Ισσαχαρ, Ζαβουλων.
The sons of Leàh: the ⓘ of Yaaqòv, Reuvèn, Shim'òn, Levì, Yehudàh, Yissakhàr, Zevulùn.

בני רחל יוסף ובנימן
υἱοὶ δὲ Ραχηλ· Ιωσηφ καὶ Βενιαμιν.
The sons of Rachèl: Yosèf and Binyamìn.
25
ובני בלהה שפחת רחל דן ונפתלי
υἱοὶ δὲ Βαλλας παιδίσκης Ραχηλ· Δαν καὶ Νεφθαλι.
The sons of ⓘ, ⓘ of Rachèl: Dan and Naftàlì.

ובני זלפה שפחת לאה גד ואשר אלה בני יעקב אשר ילד לו בפדן ארם
υἱοὶ δὲ Ζελφας παιδίσκης Λειας· Γαδ καὶ Ασηρ. οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ιακωβ, οἳ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ ἐν Μεσοποταμίᾳ τῆς Συρίας
The sons of ⓘ, handmaid of Leàh: Gad and Ashèr. These are the sons of Yaaqòv who were born to him in ⓘ.

ויבא יעקב אל יצחק אביו ממרא קרית הארבע הוא חברון אשר גר שם אברהם ויצחק
Ἦλθεν δὲ Ιακωβ πρὸς Ισαακ τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ εἰς Μαμβρη εἰς πόλιν τοῦ πεδίου [αὕτη ἐστὶν Χεβρων] ἐν γῇ Χανααν, οὗ παρῴκησεν Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ.
Yaaqòv came to Yitzhàq his father at ⓘ, at ⓘ — it is ⓘ — where Avrahàm and Yitzhàq had sojourned.

ויהיו ימי יצחק מאת שנה ושמנים שנה
ἐγένοντο δὲ αἱ ἡμέραι Ισαακ, ἃς ἔζησεν, ἔτη ἑκατὸν ὀγδοήκοντα·
The days of Yitzhàq were ⓘ.
29
ויגוע יצחק וימת ויאסף אל עמיו זקן ושבע ימים ויקברו אתו עשו ויעקב בניו
καὶ ἐκλιπὼν ἀπέθανεν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸ γένος αὐτοῦ πρεσβύτερος καὶ πλήρης ἡμερῶν, καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν Ησαυ καὶ Ιακωβ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ.
ⓘ and died and ⓘ, old and ⓘ; his ⓘ Esàv and Yaaqòv buried him.
