ואלה תלדות עשו הוא אדום
Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ησαυ [αὐτός ἐστιν Εδωμ]·
And these are the toldotⓘ of Esau — he is Edomⓘ.

עשו לקח את נשיו מבנות כנען את עדה בת אילון החתי ואת אהליבמה בת ענה בת צבעון החוי
Ησαυ δὲ ἔλαβεν γυναῖκας ἑαυτῷ ἀπὸ τῶν θυγατέρων τῶν Χαναναίων, τὴν Αδα θυγατέρα Αιλων τοῦ Χετταίου καὶ τὴν Ελιβεμα θυγατέρα Ανα τοῦ υἱοῦ Σεβεγων τοῦ Ευαίου
Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adahⓘ daughter of Ailon the Hittiteⓘ, and Oholivamahⓘ daughter of Anah daughter of Tzivonⓘ the Hivvite;

ואת בשמת בת ישמעאל אחות נביות
καὶ τὴν Βασεμμαθ θυγατέρα Ισμαηλ ἀδελφὴν Ναβαιωθ.
and Basematⓘ daughter of Yishmael, sister of Nevayotⓘ.

ותלד עדה לעשו את אליפז ובשמת ילדה את רעואל
ἔτεκεν δὲ Αδα τῷ Ησαυ τὸν Ελιφας, καὶ Βασεμμαθ ἔτεκεν τὸν Ραγουηλ,
Adah bore to Esau Elifazⓘ; Basemat bore Reuelⓘ.

ואהליבמה ילדה את יעיש יעוש ואת יעלם ואת קרח אלה בני עשו אשר ילדו לו בארץ כנען
καὶ Ελιβεμα ἔτεκεν τὸν Ιεους καὶ τὸν Ιεγλομ καὶ τὸν Κορε· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ησαυ, οἳ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ ἐν γῇ Χανααν.
Oholivamah bore Yeushⓘ, Yaelam and Qorach. These are the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaanⓘ.

ויקח עשו את נשיו ואת בניו ואת בנתיו ואת כל נפשות ביתו ואת מקנהו ואת כל בהמתו ואת כל קנינו אשר רכש בארץ כנען וילך אל ארץ מפני יעקב אחיו
ἔλαβεν δὲ Ησαυ τὰς γυναῖκας αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας καὶ πάντα τὰ σώματα τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη καὶ πάντα, ὅσα ἐκτήσατο καὶ ὅσα περιεποιήσατο ἐν γῇ Χανααν, καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἐκ γῆς Χανααν ἀπὸ προσώπου Ιακωβ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ·
Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters and all the nefashotⓘ of his house, and his miqnehⓘ and all the cattle and all the qinyanⓘ and all that he had further accumulatedⓘ that he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and he moved toward a landⓘ away from the face of Yaaqov his brotherⓘ.

כי היה רכושם רב משבת יחדו ולא יכלה ארץ מגוריהם לשאת אתם מפני מקניהם
ἦν γὰρ αὐτῶν τὰ ὑπάρχοντα πολλὰ τοῦ οἰκεῖν ἅμα, καὶ οὐκ ἐδύνατο ἡ γῆ τῆς παροικήσεως αὐτῶν φέρειν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτῶν.
For their possessionsⓘ were too abundant for them to dwell together, and the land of their sojourning could not sustain themⓘ on account of their flocksⓘ.

וישב עשו בהר שעיר עשו הוא אדום
ᾤκησεν δὲ Ησαυ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σηιρ [Ησαυ αὐτός ἐστιν Εδωμ].
Esau settled on Mount Seirⓘ — Esau, he is Edomⓘ.

ואלה תלדות עשו אבי אדום בהר שעיר
Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ησαυ πατρὸς Εδωμ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σηιρ,
And these are the toldot of Esau father of Edomⓘ on Mount Seir.
10
אלה שמות בני עשו אליפז בן עדה אשת עשו רעואל בן בשמת אשת עשו
καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ησαυ· Ελιφας υἱὸς Αδας γυναικὸς Ησαυ καὶ Ραγουηλ υἱὸς Βασεμμαθ γυναικὸς Ησαυ.
These are the names of the sons of Esau: Elifaz son of Adah wife of Esauⓘ, Reuel son of Basemat wife of Esau.

ויהיו בני אליפז תימן אומר צפו וגעתם וקנז
ἐγένοντο δὲ υἱοὶ Ελιφας· Θαιμαν, Ωμαρ, Σωφαρ, Γοθομ καὶ Κενεζ·
The sons of Elifaz were: Temanⓘ, Omar, Tzefoⓘ, Gatam and Qenazⓘ.

ותמנע היתה פילגש לאליפז בן עשו ותלד לאליפז את עמלק אלה בני עדה אשת עשו
Θαμνα δὲ ἦν παλλακὴ Ελιφας τοῦ υἱοῦ Ησαυ καὶ ἔτεκεν τῷ Ελιφας τὸν Αμαληκ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αδας γυναικὸς Ησαυ.
Timnaⓘ was pilegeshⓘ of Elifaz son of Esau, and she bore to Elifaz Amaleqⓘ. These are the sons of Adah wife of Esau.

ואלה בני רעואל נחת וזרח שמה ומזה אלה היו בני בשמת אשת עשו
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ραγουηλ· Ναχοθ, Ζαρε, Σομε καὶ Μοζε· οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Βασεμμαθ γυναικὸς Ησαυ.
These are the sons of Reuel: Nachatⓘ, Zerach, Shammahⓘ and Mizzahⓘ. These were the sons of Basemat wife of Esau.

ואלה היו בני אהליבמה בת ענה בת צבעון אשת עשו ותלד לעשו את יעיש יעוש ואת יעלם ואת קרח
οὗτοι δὲ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ελιβεμας θυγατρὸς Ανα τοῦ υἱοῦ Σεβεγων, γυναικὸς Ησαυ· ἔτεκεν δὲ τῷ Ησαυ τὸν Ιεους καὶ τὸν Ιεγλομ καὶ τὸν Κορε. –
And these were the sons of Oholivamah daughter of Anah daughter of Tzivonⓘ, wife of Esau: she bore to Esau Yeush, Yaelam and Qorach.

אלה אלופי בני עשו בני אליפז בכור עשו אלוף תימן אלוף אומר אלוף צפו אלוף קנז
οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες υἱοὶ Ησαυ· υἱοὶ Ελιφας πρωτοτόκου Ησαυ· ἡγεμὼν Θαιμαν, ἡγεμὼν Ωμαρ, ἡγεμὼν Σωφαρ, ἡγεμὼν Κενεζ,
These are the alufimⓘ sons of Esau. Sons of Elifaz firstbornⓘ of Esau: aluph Teman, aluph Omar, aluph Tzefo, aluph Qenaz,

אלוף קרח אלוף געתם אלוף עמלק אלה אלופי אליפז בארץ אדום אלה בני עדה
ἡγεμὼν Κορε, ἡγεμὼν Γοθομ, ἡγεμὼν Αμαληκ· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ελιφας ἐν γῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αδας.
aluph Qorach, aluph Gatam, aluph Amaleq. These are the alufim of Elifaz in the land of Edomⓘ; these are the sons of Adah.
17
ואלה בני רעואל בן עשו אלוף נחת אלוף זרח אלוף שמה אלוף מזה אלה אלופי רעואל בארץ אדום אלה בני בשמת אשת עשו
καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ραγουηλ υἱοῦ Ησαυ· ἡγεμὼν Ναχοθ, ἡγεμὼν Ζαρε, ἡγεμὼν Σομε, ἡγεμὼν Μοζε· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ραγουηλ ἐν γῇ Εδωμ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Βασεμμαθ γυναικὸς Ησαυ.
And these are the sons of Reuel son of Esau: aluph Nachat, aluph Zerach, aluph Shammah, aluph Mizzah. These are the alufim of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basemat wife of Esau.

ואלה בני אהליבמה אשת עשו אלוף יעוש אלוף יעלם אלוף קרח אלה אלופי אהליבמה בת ענה אשת עשו
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ελιβεμας γυναικὸς Ησαυ· ἡγεμὼν Ιεους, ἡγεμὼν Ιεγλομ, ἡγεμὼν Κορε· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ελιβεμας. –
And these are the sons of Oholivamah wife of Esau: aluph Yeush, aluph Yaelamⓘ, aluph Qorach. These are the alufim of Oholivamah daughter of Anah wife of Esau.
19
אלה בני עשו ואלה אלופיהם הוא אדום
οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ησαυ, καὶ οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες αὐτῶν. οὗτοί εἰσιν υἱοὶ Εδωμ.
These are the sons of Esau and these are their alufim — he is Edomⓘ these are the sons of Edomⓘ.
20
אלה בני שעיר החרי ישבי הארץ לוטן ושובל וצבעון וענה
Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Σηιρ τοῦ Χορραίου τοῦ κατοικοῦντος τὴν γῆν· Λωταν, Σωβαλ, Σεβεγων, Ανα
These are the sons of Seir the Horiteⓘ, inhabitants of the landⓘ: Lotan, Shoval, Tzivon and Anah,

ודשון ואצר ודישן אלה אלופי החרי בני שעיר בארץ אדום
καὶ Δησων καὶ Ασαρ καὶ Ρισων· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες τοῦ Χορραίου τοῦ υἱοῦ Σηιρ ἐν τῇ γῇ Εδωμ.
and Dishon, Etzer and Dishanⓘ. These are the alufim of the Horites sons of Seirⓘ in the land of Edom.
22
ויהיו בני לוטן חרי והימם ואחות לוטן תמנע
ἐγένοντο δὲ υἱοὶ Λωταν· Χορρι καὶ Αιμαν· ἀδελφὴ δὲ Λωταν Θαμνα.
The sons of Lotan: Chori and Hemamⓘ; the sister of Lotan was Timnaⓘ.
23
ואלה בני שובל עלון ומנחת ועיבל שפו ואונם
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Σωβαλ· Γωλων καὶ Μαναχαθ καὶ Γαιβηλ, Σωφ καὶ Ωμαν.
These are the sons of Shoval: Alvanⓘ, Manachat, Evalⓘ, Shefoⓘ and Onam.
24
ואלה בני צבעון ואיה וענה הוא ענה אשר מצא את הימם במדבר ברעתו את החמרים לצבעון אביו
καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Σεβεγων· Αιε καὶ Ωναν· οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Ωνας, ὃς εὗρεν τὸν Ιαμιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, ὅτε ἔνεμεν τὰ ὑποζύγια Σεβεγων τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ.
These are the sons of Tzivon: Ayyah and Anah. This is the Anahⓘ who found the yemimⓘ in the wilderness, while he was pasturing the donkeys of Tzivon his father.
25
ואלה בני ענה דשן ואהליבמה בת ענה
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ανα· Δησων· καὶ Ελιβεμα θυγάτηρ Ανα.
These are the sons of Anah: Dishon and Oholivamah daughter of Anahⓘ.
26
ואלה בני דישן חמדן ואשבן ויתרן וכרן
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Δησων· Αμαδα καὶ Ασβαν καὶ Ιεθραν καὶ Χαρραν.
These are the sons of Dishon: Chemdanⓘ, Eshban, Yitrenⓘ and Keranⓘ.
27
אלה בני אצר בלהן וזעון ועקן
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ασαρ· Βαλααν καὶ Ζουκαμ καὶ Ιωυκαμ καὶ Ουκαν.
These are the sons of Etzer: Bilhan, Zaavanⓘ and Aqanⓘ.

אלה בני דישן עוץ וארן
οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ρισων· Ως καὶ Αραμ. –
These are the sons of Dishan: Utzⓘ and Aranⓘ.
29
אלה אלופי החרי אלוף לוטן אלוף שובל אלוף צבעון אלוף ענה
οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Χορρι· ἡγεμὼν Λωταν, ἡγεμὼν Σωβαλ, ἡγεμὼν Σεβεγων, ἡγεμὼν Ανα,
These are the alufim of the Horites: aluph Lotan, aluph Shoval, aluph Tzivon, aluph Anah,
30
אלוף דשן אלוף אצר אלוף דישן אלה אלופי החרי לאלפיהם בארץ שעיר
ἡγεμὼν Δησων, ἡγεμὼν Ασαρ, ἡγεμὼν Ρισων. οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Χορρι ἐν ταῖς ἡγεμονίαις αὐτῶν ἐν γῇ Εδωμ.
aluph Dishon, aluph Etzer, aluph Dishan. These are the alufim of the Horites according to their clansⓘ in the land of Seir.
31
ואלה המלכים אשר מלכו בארץ אדום לפני מלך מלך לבני ישראל
Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ βασιλεῖς οἱ βασιλεύσαντες ἐν Εδωμ πρὸ τοῦ βασιλεῦσαι βασιλέα ἐν Ισραηλ.
And these are the kingsⓘ who reigned in the land of Edom before a king reigned over the children of Israelⓘ.
32
וימלך באדום בלע בן בעור ושם עירו דנהבה
καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Εδωμ Βαλακ υἱὸς τοῦ Βεωρ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Δενναβα.
There reigned in Edom Bela son of Beorⓘ, and the name of his city was Dinavahⓘ.
33
וימת בלע וימלך תחתיו יובב בן זרח מבצרה
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Βαλακ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Ιωβαβ υἱὸς Ζαρα ἐκ Βοσορρας.
Bela died and there reigned in his place Yovav son of Zerachⓘ from Botzerahⓘ.
34
וימת יובב וימלך תחתיו חשם מארץ התימני
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Ιωβαβ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Ασομ ἐκ τῆς γῆς Θαιμανων.
Yovav died and there reigned in his place Chusham from the land of the Temanitesⓘ.
35
וימת חשם וימלך תחתיו הדד בן בדד המכה את מדין בשדה מואב ושם עירו עוית
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Ασομ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Αδαδ υἱὸς Βαραδ ὁ ἐκκόψας Μαδιαμ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ Μωαβ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Γεθθαιμ.
Chusham died and there reigned in his place Hadad son of Badadⓘ, the one who defeated Midian in the field of Moabⓘ, and the name of his city was Avitⓘ.
36
וימת הדד וימלך תחתיו שמלה ממשרקה
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Αδαδ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Σαμαλα ἐκ Μασεκκας.
Hadad died and there reigned in his place Samlah of Masreqahⓘ.
37
וימת שמלה וימלך תחתיו שאול מרחבות הנהר
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Σαμαλα, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Σαουλ ἐκ Ροωβωθ τῆς παρὰ ποταμόν.
Samlah died and there reigned in his place Shaul from Rechovot on the riverⓘ.
38
וימת שאול וימלך תחתיו בעל חנן בן עכבור
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Σαουλ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Βαλαεννων υἱὸς Αχοβωρ.
Shaul died and there reigned in his place Baal-Chanan son of Akborⓘ.
39
וימת בעל חנן בן עכבור וימלך תחתיו הדר ושם עירו פעו ושם אשתו מהיטבאל בת מטרד בת מי זהב
ἀπέθανεν δὲ Βαλαεννων υἱὸς Αχοβωρ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ αὐτοῦ Αραδ υἱὸς Βαραδ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Φογωρ, ὄνομα δὲ τῇ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ Μαιτεβεηλ θυγάτηρ Ματραιθ υἱοῦ Μαιζοοβ.

ואלה שמות אלופי עשו למשפחתם למקמתם בשמתם אלוף תמנע אלוף עלוה אלוף יתת
Ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἡγεμόνων Ησαυ ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν κατὰ τόπον αὐτῶν, ἐν ταῖς χώραις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν· ἡγεμὼν Θαμνα, ἡγεμὼν Γωλα, ἡγεμὼν Ιεθερ,
And these are the names of the alufim of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, according to their namesⓘ and among their peoplesⓘ: aluph Timna, aluph Alvahⓘ, aluph Yetet,

אלוף אהליבמה אלוף אלה אלוף פינן
ἡγεμὼν Ελιβεμας, ἡγεμὼν Ηλας, ἡγεμὼν Φινων,
aluph Oholivamah, aluph Elahⓘ, aluph Pinonⓘ,

אלוף קנז אלוף תימן אלוף מבצר
ἡγεμὼν Κενεζ, ἡγεμὼν Θαιμαν, ἡγεμὼν Μαζαρ,
aluph Qenaz, aluph Teman, aluph Mivtzarⓘ,

אלוף מגדיאל אלוף עירם אלה אלופי אדום למשבתם בארץ אחזתם הוא עשו אבי אדום
ἡγεμὼν Μεγεδιηλ, ἡγεμὼν Ζαφωιμ. οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Εδωμ ἐν ταῖς κατῳκοδομημέναις ἐν τῇ γῇ τῆς κτήσεως αὐτῶν. Οὗτος Ησαυ πατὴρ Εδωμ.
aluph Magdielⓘ, aluph Iramⓘ. These are the alufim of Edom according to their dwellings, in the land of their possessionⓘ — he is Esau father of Edomⓘ.
