ויוסף הורד מצרימה ויקנהו פוטיפר סריס פרעה שר הטבחים איש מצרי מיד הישמעאלים אשר הורדהו שמה
Ιωσηφ δὲ κατήχθη εἰς Αἴγυπτον, καὶ ἐκτήσατο αὐτὸν Πετεφρης ὁ εὐνοῦχος Φαραω, ἀρχιμάγειρος, ἀνὴρ Αἰγύπτιος, ἐκ χειρὸς Ισμαηλιτῶν, οἳ κατήγαγον αὐτὸν ἐκεῖ.
** And Yosèf was ⓘ into Mitzràyim; ⓘ, a ⓘ of Pharaoh, the ⓘ — an Egyptian man — bought him from the hand of the Yishmaelìm who had brought him down there.

ויהי יהוה את יוסף ויהי איש מצליח ויהי בבית אדניו המצרי
καὶ ἦν κύριος μετὰ Ιωσηφ, καὶ ἦν ἀνὴρ ἐπιτυγχάνων καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ παρὰ τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ Αἰγυπτίῳ.
** And ⓘ; and he was a ⓘ; and he dwelt in the house of his Egyptian master.

וירא אדניו כי יהוה אתו וכל אשר הוא עשה יהוה מצליח בידו
ᾔδει δὲ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ ὅτι κύριος μετ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὅσα ἂν ποιῇ, κύριος εὐοδοῖ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ.
** And his master saw that ⓘ and that everything he did, ⓘ.

וימצא יוסף חן בעיניו וישרת אתו ויפקדהו על ביתו וכל יש לו נתן בידו
καὶ εὗρεν Ιωσηφ χάριν ἐναντίον τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ, εὐηρέστει δὲ αὐτῷ, καὶ κατέστησεν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα, ὅσα ἦν αὐτῷ, ἔδωκεν διὰ χειρὸς Ιωσηφ.
** And Yosèf found ⓘ in the eyes of his master, and he served him; and he ⓘ, and all that he had he gave into his hands.

ויהי מאז הפקיד אתו בביתו ועל כל אשר יש לו ויברך יהוה את בית המצרי בגלל יוסף ויהי ברכת יהוה בכל אשר יש לו בבית ובשדה
ἐγένετο δὲ μετὰ τὸ κατασταθῆναι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα, ὅσα ἦν αὐτῷ, καὶ ηὐλόγησεν κύριος τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Αἰγυπτίου διὰ Ιωσηφ, καὶ ἐγενήθη εὐλογία κυρίου ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ὑπάρχουσιν αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ καὶ ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ.
** And it was, from the time he had set him over his house and over all that he had, that ⓘ ⓘ Yosèf; and the ⓘ was upon all that he had, in the house and in the field.

ויעזב כל אשר לו ביד יוסף ולא ידע אתו מאומה כי אם הלחם אשר הוא אוכל ויהי יוסף יפה תאר ויפה מראה
καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν πάντα, ὅσα ἦν αὐτῷ, εἰς χεῖρας Ιωσηφ καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει τῶν καθ’ ἑαυτὸν οὐδὲν πλὴν τοῦ ἄρτου, οὗ ἤσθιεν αὐτός. Καὶ ἦν Ιωσηφ καλὸς τῷ εἴδει καὶ ὡραῖος τῇ ὄψει σφόδρα.
** And he left all that he had in the hand of Yosèf and did not concern himself with anything except the bread that he ate. And Yosèf was ⓘ ⓘ.

ויהי אחר הדברים האלה ותשא אשת אדניו את עיניה אל יוסף ותאמר שכבה עמי
καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα καὶ ἐπέβαλεν ἡ γυνὴ τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῆς ἐπὶ Ιωσηφ καὶ εἶπεν Κοιμήθητι μετ’ ἐμοῦ.
** And it was ⓘ: the wife of his master lifted up her eyes toward Yosèf and said: ⓘ.

וימאן ויאמר אל אשת אדניו הן אדני לא ידע אתי מה בבית וכל אשר יש לו נתן בידי
ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἤθελεν, εἶπεν δὲ τῇ γυναικὶ τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ Εἰ ὁ κύριός μου οὐ γινώσκει δι’ ἐμὲ οὐδὲν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα, ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτῷ, ἔδωκεν εἰς τὰς χεῖράς μου
** But he ⓘ and said to the wife of his master: «Behold, my master does not concern himself with anything in his house through me, and all that he has he has given into my hands.

איננו גדול בבית הזה ממני ולא חשך ממני מאומה כי אם אותך באשר את אשתו ואיך אעשה הרעה הגדלה הזאת וחטאתי לאלהים
καὶ οὐχ ὑπερέχει ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ταύτῃ οὐθὲν ἐμοῦ οὐδὲ ὑπεξῄρηται ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ οὐδὲν πλὴν σοῦ διὰ τὸ σὲ γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ εἶναι, καὶ πῶς ποιήσω τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ πονηρὸν τοῦτο καὶ ἁμαρτήσομαι ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ;
** No one in this house is ⓘ, and he has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. And how could I do ⓘ and ⓘ?»

ויהי כדברה אל יוסף יום יום ולא שמע אליה לשכב אצלה להיות עמה
ἡνίκα δὲ ἐλάλει τῷ Ιωσηφ ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας, καὶ οὐχ ὑπήκουσεν αὐτῇ καθεύδειν μετ’ αὐτῆς τοῦ συγγενέσθαι αὐτῇ. –
** And it was, as she spoke to Yosèf ⓘ, that he did not listen to her, to lie beside her, to be with her.

ויהי כהיום הזה ויבא הביתה לעשות מלאכתו ואין איש מאנשי הבית שם בבית
ἐγένετο δὲ τοιαύτη τις ἡμέρα, εἰσῆλθεν Ιωσηφ εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν ποιεῖν τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐθεὶς ἦν τῶν ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἔσω,
** And it was on ⓘ that he came into the house to do his ⓘ, and ⓘ.

ותתפשהו בבגדו לאמר שכבה עמי ויעזב בגדו בידה וינס ויצא החוצה
καὶ ἐπεσπάσατο αὐτὸν τῶν ἱματίων λέγουσα Κοιμήθητι μετ’ ἐμοῦ. καὶ καταλιπὼν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῆς ἔφυγεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἔξω.
** And she ⓘ saying: «Lie with me». And he left his garment in her hand, ⓘ.

ויהי כראותה כי עזב בגדו בידה וינס החוצה
καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς εἶδεν ὅτι κατέλιπεν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῆς καὶ ἔφυγεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἔξω,
** And it was, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and had fled outside —

ותקרא לאנשי ביתה ותאמר להם לאמר ראו הביא לנו איש עברי לצחק בנו בא אלי לשכב עמי ואקרא בקול גדול
καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τοὺς ὄντας ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς λέγουσα Ἴδετε, εἰσήγαγεν ἡμῖν παῖδα Εβραῖον ἐμπαίζειν ἡμῖν· εἰσῆλθεν πρός με λέγων Κοιμήθητι μετ’ ἐμοῦ, καὶ ἐβόησα φωνῇ μεγάλῃ·
** she called the men of her house and said to them: «See, he has brought us a ⓘ ⓘ; he came to me ⓘ and I cried out with a loud voice.

ויהי כשמעו כי הרימתי קולי ואקרא ויעזב בגדו אצלי וינס ויצא החוצה
ἐν δὲ τῷ ἀκοῦσαι αὐτὸν ὅτι ὕψωσα τὴν φωνήν μου καὶ ἐβόησα, καταλιπὼν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ παρ’ ἐμοὶ ἔφυγεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἔξω.
** «And it was, when he heard that I raised my voice and cried out, he left his garment beside me, fled and went outside».

ותנח בגדו אצלה עד בוא אדניו אל ביתו
καὶ καταλιμπάνει τὰ ἱμάτια παρ’ ἑαυτῇ, ἕως ἦλθεν ὁ κύριος εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.
** And she kept his garment beside her until the return of his master to the house.

ותדבר אליו כדברים האלה לאמר בא אלי העבד העברי אשר הבאת לנו לצחק בי
καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ κατὰ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα λέγουσα Εἰσῆλθεν πρός με ὁ παῖς ὁ Εβραῖος, ὃν εἰσήγαγες πρὸς ἡμᾶς, ἐμπαῖξαί μοι καὶ εἶπέν μοι Κοιμηθήσομαι μετὰ σοῦ·
** And she spoke to him with these same words: «The ⓘ whom you brought us came to me ⓘ». ⓘ.

ויהי כהרימי קולי ואקרא ויעזב בגדו אצלי וינס החוצה
ὡς δὲ ἤκουσεν ὅτι ὕψωσα τὴν φωνήν μου καὶ ἐβόησα, κατέλιπεν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ παρ’ ἐμοὶ καὶ ἔφυγεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἔξω.
** «And it was, when I raised my voice and cried out, he left his garment beside me and fled outside».

ויהי כשמע אדניו את דברי אשתו אשר דברה אליו לאמר כדברים האלה עשה לי עבדך ויחר אפו
ἐγένετο δὲ ὡς ἤκουσεν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ τὰ ῥήματα τῆς γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ, ὅσα ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγουσα Οὕτως ἐποίησέν μοι ὁ παῖς σου, καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ.
** And it was, when the master of Yosèf heard the words of his wife that she had spoken to him — «Thus your slave did to me» — ⓘ.

ויקח אדני יוסף אתו ויתנהו אל בית הסהר מקום אשר אסורי אסירי המלך אסורים ויהי שם בבית הסהר
καὶ λαβὼν ὁ κύριος Ιωσηφ ἐνέβαλεν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ ὀχύρωμα, εἰς τὸν τόπον, ἐν ᾧ οἱ δεσμῶται τοῦ βασιλέως κατέχονται ἐκεῖ ἐν τῷ ὀχυρώματι.
** And the master of Yosèf took him and cast him into the ⓘ — the place where the ⓘ were confined — and he remained there in the beit ha-sohar.

ויהי יהוה את יוסף ויט אליו חסד ויתן חנו בעיני שר בית הסהר
Καὶ ἦν κύριος μετὰ Ιωσηφ καὶ κατέχεεν αὐτοῦ ἔλεος καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ χάριν ἐναντίον τοῦ ἀρχιδεσμοφύλακος,
** And ⓘ and ⓘ and gave him chen in the eyes of the keeper of the beit ha-sohar.

ויתן שר בית הסהר ביד יוסף את כל האסירם אשר בבית הסהר ואת כל אשר עשים שם הוא היה עשה
καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ ἀρχιδεσμοφύλαξ τὸ δεσμωτήριον διὰ χειρὸς Ιωσηφ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀπηγμένους, ὅσοι ἐν τῷ δεσμωτηρίῳ, καὶ πάντα, ὅσα ποιοῦσιν ἐκεῖ.
** And the keeper of the beit ha-sohar gave into the hand of Yosèf all the prisoners who were in the beit ha-sohar, and ⓘ.

אין שר בית הסהר ראה את כל מאומה בידו באשר יהוה אתו ואשר הוא עשה יהוה מצליח
οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἀρχιδεσμοφύλαξ τοῦ δεσμωτηρίου γινώσκων δι’ αὐτὸν οὐθέν· πάντα γὰρ ἦν διὰ χειρὸς Ιωσηφ διὰ τὸ τὸν κύριον μετ’ αὐτοῦ εἶναι, καὶ ὅσα αὐτὸς ἐποίει, κύριος εὐώδου ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ.
