Καὶ τῇ πρώτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τῶν ἀζύμων, ὅτε τὸ πάσχα ἔθυον, λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ· Ποῦ θέλεις ἀπελθόντες ἑτοιμάσωμεν ἵνα φάγῃς τὸ πάσχα;
Il primo giorno degli Azzimi, quando si immolava la Pasqua, i suoi discepoli gli dissero: «Dove vuoi che andiamo a preparare perché tu possa mangiare la Pasqua?».
And on the first day of ⓘ, when the ⓘ was being slaughtered, his ⓘ said to him: «Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the ⓘ?».

καὶ ἀποστέλλει δύο τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ὑπάγετε εἰς τὴν πόλιν, καὶ ἀπαντήσει ὑμῖν ἄνθρωπος κεράμιον ὕδατος βαστάζων· ἀκολουθήσατε αὐτῷ,
Allora mandò due dei suoi discepoli dicendo loro: «Andate in città e vi verrà incontro un uomo con una brocca d'acqua; seguitelo.
And he sends two of his disciples and says to them: «Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you; follow him.

καὶ ὅπου ⸀ἐὰν εἰσέλθῃ εἴπατε τῷ οἰκοδεσπότῃ ὅτι Ὁ διδάσκαλος λέγει· Ποῦ ἐστιν τὸ κατάλυμά ⸀μου ὅπου τὸ πάσχα μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν μου φάγω;
Là dove entrerà, dite al padrone di casa: Il Maestro dice: Dov'è la mia stanza, in cui io possa mangiare la Pasqua con i miei discepoli?
And wherever he enters, say to the master of the house: The ⓘ says: Where is my ⓘ, where I may eat the Pesach with my disciples?

καὶ αὐτὸς ὑμῖν δείξει ἀνάγαιον μέγα ἐστρωμένον ἕτοιμον· ⸀καὶ ἐκεῖ ἑτοιμάσατε ἡμῖν.
Egli vi mostrerà al piano superiore una grande sala, arredata e già pronta; lì preparate per noi».
And he will show you upstairs a large room ⓘ and ready; and there prepare for us».

καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ ⸀μαθηταὶ καὶ ἦλθον εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ εὗρον καθὼς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἡτοίμασαν τὸ πάσχα.
I discepoli andarono e, entrati in città, trovarono come aveva detto loro e prepararono la Pasqua.
And the disciples went out and came into the city and found things as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

Καὶ ὀψίας γενομένης ἔρχεται μετὰ τῶν δώδεκα.
Venuta la sera, egli arrivò con i Dodici.
And, when evening came, he comes with the ⓘ.

καὶ ἀνακειμένων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐσθιόντων ⸂ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν⸃· Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι εἷς ἐξ ὑμῶν παραδώσει με ὁ ἐσθίων μετ’ ἐμοῦ.
Ora, mentre erano a tavola e mangiavano, Gesù disse: «In verità io vi dico: uno di voi, colui che mangia con me, mi tradirà».
And, while they were ⓘ and eating, Jesus said: «ⓘ, I say to you that one of you will hand me over, ⓘ».

⸀ἤρξαντο λυπεῖσθαι καὶ λέγειν αὐτῷ εἷς κατὰ εἷς· Μήτι ⸀ἐγώ;
Cominciarono a rattristarsi e a dirgli, uno dopo l'altro: «Sono forse io?».
They began to be saddened and to say to him one by one: «Surely it is not I?».

ὁ ⸀δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ⸀Εἷς τῶν δώδεκα, ὁ ἐμβαπτόμενος μετ’ ἐμοῦ εἰς ⸀τὸ τρύβλιον·
Egli disse loro: «Uno dei Dodici, colui che intinge con me nel piatto.
And he said to them: «One of the Twelve, the one who dips with me in the ⓘ.

⸀ὅτι ὁ μὲν υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ὑπάγει καθὼς γέγραπται περὶ αὐτοῦ, οὐαὶ δὲ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐκείνῳ δι’ οὗ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου παραδίδοται· ⸀καλὸν αὐτῷ εἰ οὐκ ἐγεννήθη ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος.
Il Figlio dell'uomo se ne va, come sta scritto di lui; ma guai a quell'uomo dal quale il Figlio dell'uomo viene tradito! Meglio per quell'uomo se non fosse mai nato!».
For the ⓘ goes away, ⓘ of him; but ⓘ to that man through whom the Son of Man is ⓘ! Better for him if that man had not been born».

Καὶ ἐσθιόντων αὐτῶν ⸀λαβὼν ἄρτον εὐλογήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς καὶ εἶπεν· ⸀Λάβετε, τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ σῶμά μου.
E, mentre mangiavano, prese il pane e recitò la benedizione, lo spezzò e lo diede loro, dicendo: «Prendete, questo è il mio corpo».
And, while they were eating, he took bread and, having pronounced the ⓘ, broke it and gave it to them and said: «Take, this is my body».

καὶ ⸀λαβὼν ποτήριον εὐχαριστήσας ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔπιον ἐξ αὐτοῦ πάντες.
Poi prese un calice e rese grazie, lo diede loro e ne bevvero tutti.
And, having taken a cup, ⓘ, gave it to them, and they all drank of it.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ αἷμά μου ⸀τῆς διαθήκης τὸ ⸂ἐκχυννόμενον ὑπὲρ πολλῶν⸃.
E disse loro: «Questo è il mio sangue dell'alleanza, che è versato per molti.
And he said to them: «This is my ⓘ, which is poured out for ⓘ.

ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐκέτι οὐ μὴ πίω ἐκ τοῦ γενήματος τῆς ἀμπέλου ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης ὅταν αὐτὸ πίνω καινὸν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ.
In verità io vi dico che non berrò mai più del frutto della vite fino al giorno in cui lo berrò nuovo nel regno di Dio».
ⓘ, I say to you that I will not drink again of the ⓘ until that day when I drink it new in the ⓘ».

Καὶ ὑμνήσαντες ἐξῆλθον εἰς τὸ Ὄρος τῶν Ἐλαιῶν.
Dopo aver cantato l'inno, uscirono verso il monte degli Ulivi.
And, having sung the ⓘ, they went out toward the ⓘ.
