Καὶ ἐκεῖθεν ἀναστὰς ἔρχεται εἰς τὰ ὅρια τῆς Ἰουδαίας ⸀καὶ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου, καὶ συμπορεύονται πάλιν ὄχλοι πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ὡς εἰώθει πάλιν ἐδίδασκεν αὐτούς.
Partito di là, venne nella regione della Giudea e oltre il Giordano. La folla accorse di nuovo a lui e di nuovo egli insegnava loro, come era solito fare.
He came into Judea, beyond the Jordan, and the crowdⓘ flocked to him, and he was teachingⓘ.

⸀Καὶ ⸀ἐπηρώτων αὐτὸν εἰ ἔξεστιν ἀνδρὶ γυναῖκα ἀπολῦσαι, πειράζοντες αὐτόν.
Alcuni farisei si avvicinarono e, per metterlo alla prova, gli domandavano se è lecito a un marito ripudiare la propria moglie.
The Pharisees (perushim), the observant onesⓘ, in order to test himⓘ: «Is it lawful for a husband to repudiate (give the get to) his wifeⓘ?».

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τί ὑμῖν ἐνετείλατο Μωϋσῆς;
Ma egli rispose loro: «Che cosa vi ha ordinato Mosè?».
«What did Moses commandⓘ you?».

οἱ δὲ εἶπαν· ⸂Ἐπέτρεψεν Μωϋσῆς⸃ βιβλίον ἀποστασίου γράψαι καὶ ἀπολῦσαι.
Dissero: «Mosè ha permesso di scrivere un atto di ripudio e di ripudiarla».
«Moses permittedⓘ to write a certificate of repudiation (sefer keritut)ⓘ».

⸂ὁ δὲ⸃ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Πρὸς τὴν σκληροκαρδίαν ὑμῶν ἔγραψεν ὑμῖν τὴν ἐντολὴν ταύτην·
Gesù disse loro: «Per la durezza del vostro cuore egli scrisse per voi questa norma.
«For the hardness of heartⓘ he wrote for you this statuteⓘ.

ἀπὸ δὲ ἀρχῆς κτίσεως ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν ⸀αὐτούς·
Ma dall'inizio della creazione li fece maschio e femmina;
But from the beginning of creation, male and femaleⓘ,

ἕνεκεν τούτου καταλείψει ἄνθρωπος τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν μητέρα ⸂καὶ προσκολληθήσεται πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ⸃,
per questo l'uomo lascerà suo padre e sua madre e si unirà a sua moglie
for this reason a man shall leaveⓘ his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one fleshⓘ.

καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δύο εἰς σάρκα μίαν· ὥστε οὐκέτι εἰσὶν δύο ἀλλὰ μία σάρξ·
e i due diventeranno una carne sola. Così non sono più due, ma una sola carne.

ὃ οὖν ὁ θεὸς συνέζευξεν ἄνθρωπος μὴ χωριζέτω.
Dunque l'uomo non divida quello che Dio ha congiunto».
What God has joined together, let no man separateⓘ».

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς· Ὃς ⸀ἂν ἀπολύσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ γαμήσῃ ἄλλην μοιχᾶται ἐπ’ αὐτήν,
«Chi ripudia la propria moglie e ne sposa un'altra, commette adulterio verso di lei;
«Whoever repudiates his wife and marries another commits adulteryⓘ against her;

καὶ ἐὰν ⸂αὐτὴ ἀπολύσασα τὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆς γαμήσῃ ἄλλον⸃ μοιχᾶται.
e se lei, ripudiato il marito, ne sposa un altro, commette adulterio».
and if she repudiates her husband and marries anotherⓘ, commits adulteryⓘ».
