Greek⸀καὶ ⸀ὀργισθεὶς ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ⸂αὐτοῦ ἥψατο⸃ καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Θέλω, καθαρίσθητι·

Greekκαὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Ὅρα μηδενὶ μηδὲν εἴπῃς, ἀλλὰ ὕπαγε σεαυτὸν δεῖξον τῷ ἱερεῖ καὶ προσένεγκε περὶ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σου ἃ προσέταξεν Μωϋσῆς εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.
Orthodox Readingand says to him: «See that you say nothing to anyoneⓘ; goⓘ, show yourself rather to the priest (kohen)ⓘ and offer for your purification what Moses prescribedⓘ, as a testimony to themⓘ».

Greekὁ δὲ ἐξελθὼν ἤρξατο κηρύσσειν πολλὰ καὶ διαφημίζειν τὸν λόγον, ὥστε μηκέτι αὐτὸν δύνασθαι φανερῶς εἰς πόλιν εἰσελθεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἔξω ⸀ἐπ’ ἐρήμοις τόποις ἦν· καὶ ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν ⸀πάντοθεν.
Orthodox ReadingBut that man, having gone outⓘ, began to proclaim and spread abroad the matterⓘ, so that Jesus could no longer enter openly into a cityⓘ, but stayed outside, in desert placesⓘ; and they came to him from every quarterⓘ.
