Καὶ ἔρχεται πρὸς αὐτὸν λεπρὸς παρακαλῶν αὐτὸν καὶ ⸀γονυπετῶν λέγων αὐτῷ ὅτι Ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.
Venne da lui un lebbroso, che lo supplicava in ginocchio e gli diceva: «Se vuoi, puoi purificarmi!».
A leperⓘ came to him, beseeching him and falling to his kneesⓘ: «If you will, you can cleanse meⓘ!».

⸀καὶ ⸀ὀργισθεὶς ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ⸂αὐτοῦ ἥψατο⸃ καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Θέλω, καθαρίσθητι·
Ne ebbe compassione, tese la mano, lo toccò e gli disse: «Lo voglio, sii purificato!».
Moved to angerⓘ, he stretched out his handⓘ and touchedⓘ him and says to him: «I will it, be cleansedⓘ».

καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ ἡ λέπρα, καὶ ἐκαθαρίσθη.
E subito la lebbra scomparve da lui ed egli fu purificato.
And immediately the leprosy departedⓘ from him and he was cleansedⓘ.

καὶ ἐμβριμησάμενος αὐτῷ ⸀εὐθὺς ἐξέβαλεν αὐτόν,
E, ammonendolo severamente, lo cacciò via subito
Sternly charging himⓘ, he sent him awayⓘ
44
καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Ὅρα μηδενὶ μηδὲν εἴπῃς, ἀλλὰ ὕπαγε σεαυτὸν δεῖξον τῷ ἱερεῖ καὶ προσένεγκε περὶ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σου ἃ προσέταξεν Μωϋσῆς εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.
e gli disse: «Guarda di non dire niente a nessuno; va', invece, a mostrarti al sacerdote e offri per la tua purificazione quello che Mosè ha prescritto, come testimonianza per loro».
and says to him: «See that you say nothing to anyoneⓘ; goⓘ, show yourself rather to the priest (kohen)ⓘ and offer for your purification what Moses prescribedⓘ, as a testimony to themⓘ».

ὁ δὲ ἐξελθὼν ἤρξατο κηρύσσειν πολλὰ καὶ διαφημίζειν τὸν λόγον, ὥστε μηκέτι αὐτὸν δύνασθαι φανερῶς εἰς πόλιν εἰσελθεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἔξω ⸀ἐπ’ ἐρήμοις τόποις ἦν· καὶ ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν ⸀πάντοθεν.
Ma quello, allontanatosi, si mise a proclamare e a divulgare il fatto, tanto che Gesù non poteva più entrare pubblicamente in una città, ma rimaneva fuori, in luoghi deserti; e venivano a lui da ogni parte.
But that man, having gone outⓘ, began to proclaim and spread abroad the matterⓘ, so that Jesus could no longer enter openly into a cityⓘ, but stayed outside, in desert placesⓘ; and they came to him from every quarterⓘ.
