Μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα ἠρώτησεν τὸν Πιλᾶτον Ἰωσὴφ ὁ ἀπὸ Ἁριμαθαίας, ὢν μαθητὴς τοῦ Ἰησοῦ κεκρυμμένος δὲ διὰ τὸν φόβον τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἵνα ἄρῃ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ· καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν ὁ Πιλᾶτος. ἦλθεν οὖν καὶ ἦρεν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ.
Dopo questi fatti Giuseppe di Arimatea, che era discepolo di Gesù, ma di nascosto, per timore dei Giudei, chiese a Pilato di prendere il corpo di Gesù. Pilato lo concesse. Allora egli andò e prese il corpo di Gesù.
After these thingsⓘ Joseph of Arimatheaⓘ askedⓘ Pilateⓘ, being a discipleⓘ of Jesus, but hiddenⓘ for fear of the Judeansⓘ, that he might take awayⓘ the body of Jesus; and Pilate consentedⓘ. He came thereforeⓘ and took awayⓘ his body.

ἦλθεν δὲ καὶ Νικόδημος, ὁ ἐλθὼν πρὸς αὐτὸν νυκτὸς τὸ πρῶτον, φέρων μίγμα σμύρνης καὶ ἀλόης ὡς λίτρας ἑκατόν.
Vi andò anche Nicodèmo - quello che in precedenza era andato da lui di notte - e portò circa trenta chili di una mistura di mirra e di àloe.
There came alsoⓘ Nicodemusⓘ, he who had first come to him by nightⓘ, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloesⓘ of about a hundred litraiⓘ.

ἔλαβον οὖν τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ καὶ ἔδησαν αὐτὸ ὀθονίοις μετὰ τῶν ἀρωμάτων, καθὼς ἔθος ἐστὶν τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις ἐνταφιάζειν.
Essi presero allora il corpo di Gesù e lo avvolsero con teli, insieme ad aromi, come usano fare i Giudei per preparare la sepoltura.
They took then the body of Jesusⓘ and boundⓘ it with strips of linenⓘ together with the spicesⓘ, as is the custom of the Judeans to buryⓘ.

ἦν δὲ ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ὅπου ἐσταυρώθη κῆπος, καὶ ἐν τῷ κήπῳ μνημεῖον καινὸν ἐν ᾧ οὐδέπω οὐδεὶς ἦν τεθειμένος·
Ora, nel luogo dove era stato crocifisso, vi era un giardino e nel giardino un sepolcro nuovo, nel quale nessuno era stato ancora posto.
There wasⓘ in the place where he was crucifiedⓘ a gardenⓘ, and in the garden a new tombⓘ in which no one had yet been laidⓘ.

ἐκεῖ οὖν διὰ τὴν παρασκευὴν τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἦν τὸ μνημεῖον, ἔθηκαν τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
Là dunque, poiché era il giorno della Parasceve dei Giudei e dato che il sepolcro era vicino, posero Gesù.
There thereforeⓘ, because of the Preparation of the Judeansⓘ, since the tomb was nearⓘ, they laid Jesusⓘ.
