Ἤκουσαν οἱ Φαρισαῖοι τοῦ ὄχλου γογγύζοντος περὶ αὐτοῦ ταῦτα, καὶ ἀπέστειλαν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι ὑπηρέτας ἵνα πιάσωσιν αὐτόν.
I farisei udirono che la gente andava dicendo sottovoce queste cose di lui. Perciò i capi dei sacerdoti e i farisei mandarono delle guardie per arrestarlo.
The Pharisees (perushim), the observant ones, heard the crowd ⓘ these things about him, and the chief priests (the ⓘ) and the Pharisees (perushim) sent the Temple guards, the ⓘ, to ⓘ.

εἶπεν οὖν ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Ἔτι χρόνον μικρὸν μεθ' ὑμῶν εἰμι καὶ ὑπάγω πρὸς τὸν πέμψαντά με.
Gesù disse: 'Ancora per poco tempo sono con voi; poi vado da colui che mi ha mandato.
Jesus therefore said: «Yet a ⓘ I am with you, and then I go to ⓘ.

ζητήσετέ με καὶ οὐχ εὑρήσετε, καὶ ὅπου εἰμὶ ἐγὼ ὑμεῖς οὐ δύνασθε ἐλθεῖν.
Voi mi cercherete e non mi troverete; e dove sono io, voi non potete venire'.
You will ⓘ, and where I am, you cannot come».

εἶπον οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι πρὸς ἑαυτούς· Ποῦ οὗτος μέλλει πορεύεσθαι ὅτι ἡμεῖς οὐχ εὑρήσομεν αὐτόν; μὴ εἰς τὴν διασπορὰν τῶν Ἑλλήνων μέλλει πορεύεσθαι καὶ διδάσκειν τοὺς Ἕλληνας;
Dissero dunque tra loro i Giudei: 'Dove sta per andare costui, che noi non potremo trovarlo? Andrà forse da quelli che sono dispersi fra i Greci e insegnerà ai Greci?
The authorities of Judea therefore said among themselves (the ⓘ): «Where is this man about to go, that we will not find him? Is he perhaps about to go into the diaspora, the ⓘ, and to teach the Greeks, the Hellenized Jews and the ⓘ?

τίς ἐστιν ὁ λόγος οὗτος ὃν εἶπεν· Ζητήσετέ με καὶ οὐχ εὑρήσετε, καὶ ὅπου εἰμὶ ἐγὼ ὑμεῖς οὐ δύνασθε ἐλθεῖν;
Che discorso è quello che ha fatto: 'Voi mi cercherete e non mi troverete', e: 'Dove sono io, voi non potete venire'?'.
What ⓘ that he has said: You will seek me and not find me, and where I am you cannot come?»
