Orthodox ReadingOn that day, Jesusⓘ went out of the house and sat down beside the seaⓘ.

Greekκαὶ συνήχθησαν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὄχλοι πολλοί, ὥστε αὐτὸν εἰς πλοῖον ἐμβάντα καθῆσθαι, καὶ πᾶς ὁ ὄχλος ἐπὶ τὸν αἰγιαλὸν εἱστήκει.

Orthodox ReadingAnd great crowdsⓘ gatheredⓘ to him, so that, getting into a boat, he sat downⓘ, and the whole crowdⓘ stood on the beach.

Greekκαὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς πολλὰ ἐν παραβολαῖς λέγων· Ἰδοὺ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ σπείρων τοῦ σπείρειν.

Greekἡλίου δὲ ἀνατείλαντος ἐκαυματίσθη καὶ διὰ τὸ μὴ ἔχειν ῥίζαν ἐξηράνθη.

Orthodox Readingbut, when the sun roseⓘ, they were scorched by the heatⓘ and, having no rootⓘ, they withered away.
