Καὶ ἐλθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Πέτρου, εἶδε τὴν πενθερὰν αὐτοῦ βεβλημένην καὶ πυρέσσουσαν·
Entrato nella casa di Pietro, Gesù vide la suocera di lui che era a letto con la febbre.
And when Jesus came into the house of Peterⓘ, he sawⓘ his mother-in-lawⓘ lying downⓘ feverishⓘ.

καὶ ἥψατο τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῆς, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὴν ὁ πυρετός· καὶ ἠγέρθη, καὶ διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.
Le toccò la mano e la febbre la lasciò; poi ella si alzò e lo serviva.
And he touched her handⓘ, and the fever left herⓘ; and she rose and served themⓘ.

ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς· καὶ ἐξέβαλε τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν·
Venuta la sera, gli portarono molti indemoniati ed egli scacciò gli spiriti con la parola e guarì tutti i malati,
When evening cameⓘ, they brought him many who were demonizedⓘ, and he cast out the spirits with a wordⓘ, and he healed all who were sickⓘ,

ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου, λέγοντος, Αὐτὸς τὰς ἀσθενείας ἡμῶν ἔλαβε, καὶ τὰς νόσους ἐβάστασεν.
perché si compisse ciò che era stato detto per mezzo del profeta Isaia: Egli ha preso le nostre infermità e si è caricato delle malattie.
