Τότε οἱ στρατιῶται τοῦ ἡγεμόνος παραλαβόντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν εἰς τὸ πραιτώριον συνήγαγον ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ὅλην τὴν σπεῖραν.
Allora i soldati del governatore condussero Gesù nel pretorio e gli radunarono attorno tutta la coorte.
Then the governor's soldiersⓘ took Jesus and led him into the praetoriumⓘ, and gathered the whole cohortⓘ around him.

καὶ ἐκδύσαντες αὐτὸν ⸂χλαμύδα κοκκίνην περιέθηκαν αὐτῷ⸃,
Lo spogliarono e gli misero addosso un mantello scarlatto,
And, having stripped him, they put on him a scarlet cloakⓘ,

καὶ πλέξαντες στέφανον ἐξ ἀκανθῶν ἐπέθηκαν ἐπὶ ⸂τῆς κεφαλῆς⸃ αὐτοῦ καὶ κάλαμον ⸂ἐν τῇ δεξιᾷ⸃ αὐτοῦ, καὶ γονυπετήσαντες ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ ⸀ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες· Χαῖρε, ⸀βασιλεῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων,
intrecciarono una corona di spine, gliela posero sul capo e gli misero una canna nella mano destra. Poi, inginocchiandosi davanti a lui, lo deridevano dicendo: «Salve, re dei Giudei!».
and, having woven a crown of thornsⓘ, they placed it on his head and put a reedⓘ in his right hand; and, bending the knee before him, they mocked him saying: «Hail, King of the Jewsⓘ!».

καὶ ἐμπτύσαντες εἰς αὐτὸν ἔλαβον τὸν κάλαμον καὶ ἔτυπτον εἰς τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ.
Sputandogli addosso, gli tolsero di mano la canna e lo percuotevano sul capo.
And, spitting on him, they took the reed and struck him on the headⓘ.

καὶ ὅτε ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ, ἐξέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὴν χλαμύδα καὶ ἐνέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπήγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ σταυρῶσαι.
Dopo averlo deriso, lo spogliarono del mantello e gli rimisero le sue vesti, poi lo condussero via per crocifiggerlo.
And, after they had mocked him, they stripped him of the cloak and clothed him in his own garments, and led him away to crucify himⓘ.
