GreekΕἰσέλθατε διὰ τῆς στενῆς πύλης· ὅτι πλατεῖα ⸂ἡ πύλη⸃ καὶ εὐρύχωρος ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα εἰς τὴν ἀπώλειαν, καὶ πολλοί εἰσιν οἱ εἰσερχόμενοι δι’ αὐτῆς·
Orthodox ReadingEnter through the narrow gateⓘ, for wide is the gate and spacious is the way, the derekh wayⓘ that leads to perditionⓘ, and many are those who enter through it.

Greekἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς. μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν ⸀σταφυλὰς ἢ ἀπὸ τριβόλων σῦκα;

Greekοὕτως πᾶν δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖ, τὸ δὲ σαπρὸν δένδρον καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖ·
Orthodox ReadingSo every good tree bears beautiful fruits, but the corrupt tree bears bad ones.

Greekοὐ δύναται δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς πονηροὺς ⸀ποιεῖν, οὐδὲ δένδρον σαπρὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖν.
Orthodox ReadingA good tree cannot bear bad fruits, nor a corrupt one bear beautiful ones.

Greekπᾶν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται.
Orthodox ReadingEvery tree that does not bear beautiful fruit is cut down and cast into the fire of Gehenna Gehennaⓘ.

GreekΟὐ πᾶς ὁ λέγων μοι· Κύριε κύριε εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἀλλ’ ὁ ποιῶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν ⸀τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.

Greekκαὶ τότε ὁμολογήσω αὐτοῖς ὅτι Οὐδέποτε ἔγνων ὑμᾶς· ἀποχωρεῖτε ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν.

GreekΠᾶς οὖν ὅστις ἀκούει μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ ποιεῖ αὐτούς, ⸀ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ φρονίμῳ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν ⸂αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν⸃ ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.

Greekκαὶ κατέβη ἡ βροχὴ καὶ ἦλθον οἱ ποταμοὶ καὶ ἔπνευσαν οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ προσέπεσαν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ οὐκ ἔπεσεν, τεθεμελίωτο γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.
Orthodox ReadingAnd the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
