GreekὉρᾶτε μὴ καταφρονήσητε ἑνὸς τῶν μικρῶν τούτων· λέγω γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς διὰ παντὸς βλέπουσι τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν οὐρανοῖς.
Orthodox ReadingSeeⓘ that you do not despiseⓘ a single one of these little onesⓘ, for I tell you that their angels in the heavensⓘ continually beholdⓘ the face of my Fatherⓘ who is in the heavens.

GreekΤί ὑμῖν δοκεῖ; ἐὰν γένηταί τινι ἀνθρώπῳ ἑκατὸν πρόβατα καὶ πλανηθῇ ἓν ἐξ αὐτῶν, οὐχὶ ἀφήσει τὰ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη καὶ πορευθεὶς ζητεῖ τὸ πλανώμενον;
Orthodox ReadingWhat do you thinkⓘ? If a man comes to have a hundred sheepⓘ and one of them goes astrayⓘ, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountainsⓘ and, having goneⓘ, seek the one that wandersⓘ?

Greekκαὶ ἐὰν γένηται εὑρεῖν αὐτό, ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι χαίρει ἐπ' αὐτῷ μᾶλλον ἢ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα τοῖς μὴ πεπλανημένοις.
