And Jesus, having called to himselfⓘ his disciplesⓘ, said: «I feel compassionⓘ for the crowdⓘ, because already for three daysⓘ they remain with meⓘ and have nothing to eat; and to send them awayⓘ fasting, on an empty stomach not in cultic abstinenceⓘ I am unwilling, lest they faint along the wayⓘ».
33
καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταί· Πόθεν ἡμῖν ἐν ἐρημίᾳ ἄρτοι τοσοῦτοι ὥστε χορτάσαι ὄχλον τοσοῦτον;
And the disciples say to him: «Whence to usⓘ, in a deserted placeⓘ, loavesⓘ enough to satisfyⓘ so great a crowd?».
34

he tookⓘ the seven loaves and the fish and, having pronounced the berakhah (the blessing over the bread) having given thanksⓘ, he broke themⓘ and kept giving themⓘ to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowd.
37
Tutti mangiarono a sazietà. Portarono via i pezzi avanzati: sette sporte piene.
And they all ate and were satisfiedⓘ, and they carried away the leftover of the piecesⓘ: seven basketsⓘ full.
38

And having sent awayⓘ the crowd, he went up into the boatⓘ and came into the bordersⓘ of Magadanⓘ.
