Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱεροῦ ἐπορεύετο, καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτῷ τὰς οἰκοδομὰς τοῦ ἱεροῦ.

Mentre Gesù, uscito dal tempio, se ne andava, gli si avvicinarono i suoi discepoli per fargli osservare le costruzioni del tempio.

And Jesus, having gone out of the Temple (the Beit ha-Miqdash, the house of the korban) Templeⓘ, was departing, and his disciples disciplesⓘ approached him to show him the buildings of the Templeⓘ.

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Οὐ βλέπετε ταῦτα πάντα; ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἀφεθῇ ὧδε λίθος ἐπὶ λίθον ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.

Egli disse loro: "Non vedete tutte queste cose? In verità io vi dico: non sarà lasciata qui pietra su pietra che non sarà distrutta".

But he, answering, said to them: «Do you not see all these things? Amèn, I say to you: there shall not be left here stone upon stoneⓘ that shall not be thrown downⓘ.»

Καθημένου δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ ὄρους τῶν ἐλαιῶν προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ κατ' ἰδίαν λέγοντες· Εἰπὲ ἡμῖν, πότε ταῦτα ἔσται, καὶ τί τὸ σημεῖον τῆς σῆς παρουσίας καὶ συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος;

Al monte degli Ulivi poi, sedutosi, i discepoli gli si avvicinarono e, in disparte, gli dissero: "Di' a noi quando accadranno queste cose e quale sarà il segno della tua venuta e della fine del mondo".

And as he was sitting on the Mount of Olivesⓘ, his disciples approached him privately, saying: «Tell us: when shall these things happen, and what shall be the signⓘ of your comingⓘ and of the end of the ageⓘ?»

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς πλανήσῃ.

Gesù rispose loro: "Badate che nessuno vi inganni!

And Jesus, answering, said to them: «Take heed that no one deceiveⓘ you.

πολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου λέγοντες· Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ χριστός, καὶ πολλοὺς πλανήσουσιν.

Molti infatti verranno nel mio nome, dicendo: 'Io sono il Cristo', e trarranno molti in inganno.

For many will come in my name, saying: "I am the Mašìaḥⓘ", and they will deceiveⓘ many.

μελλήσετε δὲ ἀκούειν πολέμους καὶ ἀκοὰς πολέμων· ὁρᾶτε, μὴ θροεῖσθε· δεῖ γὰρ γενέσθαι, ἀλλ' οὔπω ἐστὶν τὸ τέλος.

E sentirete di guerre e di rumori di guerre. Guardate di non allarmarvi, perché deve avvenire, ma non è ancora la fine.

You will then hear of wars and rumors of warsⓘ: take heed, do not be troubled; for these things must happen, but it is not yet the endⓘ.

ἐγερθήσεται γὰρ ἔθνος ἐπὶ ἔθνος καὶ βασιλεία ἐπὶ βασιλείαν, καὶ ἔσονται λιμοὶ καὶ σεισμοὶ κατὰ τόπους·

Si solleverà infatti nazione contro nazione e regno contro regno; vi saranno carestie e terremoti in vari luoghi:

For nation will rise against nationⓘ and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be faminesⓘ and earthquakesⓘ in various places.

πάντα δὲ ταῦτα ἀρχὴ ὠδίνων.

ma tutto questo è solo l'inizio dei dolori.

But all these things are the beginning of the ḥevlè ha-Mašìaḥ (the pangs of the messianic birth) birth-pangsⓘ.

τότε παραδώσουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς θλῖψιν καὶ ἀποκτενοῦσιν ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου.

Allora vi abbandoneranno alla tribolazione e vi uccideranno, e sarete odiati da tutti i popoli a causa del mio nome.

Thenⓘ they will hand you over to tribulationⓘ and they will kill you, and you will be hatedⓘ by all the nationsⓘ on account of my name.

καὶ τότε σκανδαλισθήσονται πολλοὶ καὶ ἀλλήλους παραδώσουσιν καὶ μισήσουσιν ἀλλήλους·

Molti ne resteranno scandalizzati, e si tradiranno e odieranno a vicenda.

And then many will fall awayⓘ and hand one another over and hate one another;

καὶ πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐγερθήσονται καὶ πλανήσουσιν πολλούς·

Sorgeranno molti falsi profeti e inganneranno molti;

and many false prophetsⓘ will rise and deceiveⓘ many.

καὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.

per il dilagare dell'iniquità, si raffredderà l'amore di molti.

And because of the multiplying of lawlessnessⓘ the love will grow coldⓘ of the many.

ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται.

Ma chi avrà perseverato fino alla fine sarà salvato.

But whoever has perseveredⓘ to the endⓘ, this one will be savedⓘ.

καὶ κηρυχθήσεται τοῦτο τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς βασιλείας ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ εἰς μαρτύριον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τότε ἥξει τὸ τέλος.

Questo vangelo del regno sarà annunciato in tutto il mondo, perché ne sia data testimonianza a tutti i popoli; e allora verrà la fine.

And this gospelⓘ of the Kingdomⓘ will be proclaimedⓘ in all the inhabited earthⓘ as a testimonyⓘ to all the nationsⓘ; and then the end will come.
