GreekΚαὶ ἐξελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱεροῦ ἐπορεύετο, καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτῷ τὰς οἰκοδομὰς τοῦ ἱεροῦ.
Orthodox ReadingAnd Jesus, having gone out of the Temple (the Beit ha-Miqdash, the house of the korban) Templeⓘ, was departing, and his disciples disciplesⓘ approached him to show him the buildings of the Templeⓘ.

Greekὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Οὐ βλέπετε ταῦτα πάντα; ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἀφεθῇ ὧδε λίθος ἐπὶ λίθον ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.
Orthodox ReadingBut he, answering, said to them: «Do you not see all these things? Amèn, I say to you: there shall not be left here stone upon stoneⓘ that shall not be thrown downⓘ.»

GreekΚαθημένου δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ ὄρους τῶν ἐλαιῶν προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ κατ' ἰδίαν λέγοντες· Εἰπὲ ἡμῖν, πότε ταῦτα ἔσται, καὶ τί τὸ σημεῖον τῆς σῆς παρουσίας καὶ συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος;
Orthodox ReadingAnd as he was sitting on the Mount of Olivesⓘ, his disciples approached him privately, saying: «Tell us: when shall these things happen, and what shall be the signⓘ of your comingⓘ and of the end of the ageⓘ?»

Greekκαὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς πλανήσῃ.

Greekπολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου λέγοντες· Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ χριστός, καὶ πολλοὺς πλανήσουσιν.
Orthodox ReadingFor many will come in my name, saying: "I am the Mašìaḥⓘ", and they will deceiveⓘ many.

Greekμελλήσετε δὲ ἀκούειν πολέμους καὶ ἀκοὰς πολέμων· ὁρᾶτε, μὴ θροεῖσθε· δεῖ γὰρ γενέσθαι, ἀλλ' οὔπω ἐστὶν τὸ τέλος.
Orthodox ReadingYou will then hear of wars and rumors of warsⓘ: take heed, do not be troubled; for these things must happen, but it is not yet the endⓘ.

Greekἐγερθήσεται γὰρ ἔθνος ἐπὶ ἔθνος καὶ βασιλεία ἐπὶ βασιλείαν, καὶ ἔσονται λιμοὶ καὶ σεισμοὶ κατὰ τόπους·
Orthodox ReadingFor nation will rise against nationⓘ and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be faminesⓘ and earthquakesⓘ in various places.

Greekτότε παραδώσουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς θλῖψιν καὶ ἀποκτενοῦσιν ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου.
Orthodox ReadingThenⓘ they will hand you over to tribulationⓘ and they will kill you, and you will be hatedⓘ by all the nationsⓘ on account of my name.

Greekκαὶ τότε σκανδαλισθήσονται πολλοὶ καὶ ἀλλήλους παραδώσουσιν καὶ μισήσουσιν ἀλλήλους·
Orthodox ReadingAnd then many will fall awayⓘ and hand one another over and hate one another;

Greekκαὶ πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐγερθήσονται καὶ πλανήσουσιν πολλούς·

Greekκαὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.
Orthodox ReadingAnd because of the multiplying of lawlessnessⓘ the love will grow coldⓘ of the many.

Greekὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται.
Orthodox ReadingBut whoever has perseveredⓘ to the endⓘ, this one will be savedⓘ.

Greekκαὶ κηρυχθήσεται τοῦτο τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς βασιλείας ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ εἰς μαρτύριον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τότε ἥξει τὸ τέλος.
Orthodox ReadingAnd this gospelⓘ of the Kingdomⓘ will be proclaimedⓘ in all the inhabited earthⓘ as a testimonyⓘ to all the nationsⓘ; and then the end will come.
