Ἄλλην παραβολὴν παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς λέγων· Ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ ⸀σπείραντι καλὸν σπέρμα ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ αὐτοῦ.
Espose loro un'altra parabola dicendo: «Il regno dei cieli è simile a un uomo che ha seminato del buon seme nel suo campo.
He set before them another parableⓘ saying: «The Kingdom of Heavenⓘ is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

ἐν δὲ τῷ καθεύδειν τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἦλθεν αὐτοῦ ὁ ἐχθρὸς καὶ ⸀ἐπέσπειρεν ζιζάνια ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ σίτου καὶ ἀπῆλθεν.
Ma, mentre tutti dormivano, venne il suo nemico, seminò della zizzania in mezzo al grano e se ne andò.
But while everyone was sleeping, his enemyⓘ came, sowed darnelⓘ among the wheat and went away.

ὅτε δὲ ἐβλάστησεν ὁ χόρτος καὶ καρπὸν ἐποίησεν, τότε ἐφάνη καὶ τὰ ζιζάνια.
Quando poi lo stelo crebbe e fece frutto, allora apparve anche la zizzania.
When the stalk then grew and bore fruit, then the darnel also appeared.

προσελθόντες δὲ οἱ δοῦλοι τοῦ οἰκοδεσπότου εἶπον αὐτῷ· Κύριε, οὐχὶ καλὸν σπέρμα ⸀ἔσπειρας ἐν τῷ σῷ ἀγρῷ; πόθεν οὖν ἔχει ζιζάνια;
Andarono dal padrone di casa i suoi servi e gli dissero: «Signore, non hai seminato del buon seme nel tuo campo? Da dove viene la zizzania?».
The servantsⓘ of the householderⓘ came to him and said to him: «Lord, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where then does the darnel come from?».

ὁ δὲ ἔφη αὐτοῖς· Ἐχθρὸς ἄνθρωπος τοῦτο ἐποίησεν. οἱ δὲ ⸂δοῦλοι αὐτῷ λέγουσιν⸃· Θέλεις οὖν ἀπελθόντες ⸀συλλέξωμεν αὐτά;
Ed egli rispose loro: «Un nemico ha fatto questo!». E i servi gli dissero: «Vuoi che andiamo a raccoglierla?».
And he answered them: «An enemy has done this!». And the servants said to him: «Do you want us to go and gather it?».

ὁ δέ ⸀φησιν· Οὔ, μήποτε συλλέγοντες τὰ ζιζάνια ἐκριζώσητε ἅμα αὐτοῖς τὸν σῖτον·
«No, rispose, perché non succeda che, raccogliendo la zizzania, con essa sradichiate anche il grano.
«No, he replied, lest in gathering the darnel you uproot the wheat along with it.

ἄφετε συναυξάνεσθαι ἀμφότερα ⸀μέχρι τοῦ θερισμοῦ· καὶ ἐν καιρῷ τοῦ θερισμοῦ ἐρῶ τοῖς θερισταῖς· Συλλέξατε πρῶτον τὰ ζιζάνια καὶ δήσατε αὐτὰ εἰς δέσμας πρὸς τὸ κατακαῦσαι αὐτά, τὸν δὲ σῖτον ⸀συναγάγετε εἰς τὴν ἀποθήκην μου.
Lasciate che l'una e l'altro crescano insieme fino alla mietitura; e al momento della mietitura dirò ai mietitori: raccogliete prima la zizzania e legatela in fasci per bruciarla; il grano invece riponetelo nel mio granaio».
Let both grow together until the harvestⓘ; and at the time of the harvest I will tell the reapersⓘ: gather first the darnel and bind it in bundles to be burned; but the wheat gather into my barnⓘ».

Ἄλλην παραβολὴν παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς λέγων· Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἔσπειρεν ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ αὐτοῦ·
Espose loro un'altra parabola dicendo: «Il regno dei cieli è simile a un granello di senape, che un uomo prese e seminò nel suo campo.
He set before them another parable saying: «The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustardⓘ, which a man took and sowed in his field.

ὃ μικρότερον μέν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων, ὅταν δὲ αὐξηθῇ μεῖζον τῶν λαχάνων ἐστὶν καὶ γίνεται δένδρον, ὥστε ἐλθεῖν τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ κατασκηνοῦν ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις αὐτοῦ.
Esso è il più piccolo di tutti i semi, ma una volta cresciuto è più grande delle altre piante dell'orto e diventa un albero, tanto che gli uccelli del cielo vengono a fare il nido tra i suoi rami».
It is the smallest of all seeds, but once grown it is greater than the other garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come to make their nest among its branches».

Ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς· Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ζύμῃ, ἣν λαβοῦσα γυνὴ ⸀ἐνέκρυψεν εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία ἕως οὗ ἐζυμώθη ὅλον.
Disse loro un'altra parabola: «Il regno dei cieli è simile al lievito, che una donna prese e mescolò in tre misure di farina, finché tutta la pasta fu fermentata».
He told them another parable: «The Kingdom of Heaven is like the leavenⓘ, which a womanⓘ took and mixed into three measures of flourⓘ, until all the dough was leavened».

Ταῦτα πάντα ἐλάλησεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐν παραβολαῖς τοῖς ὄχλοις, καὶ χωρὶς παραβολῆς ⸀οὐδὲν ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς·
Tutte queste cose Gesù disse alle folle in parabole e non parlava ad esse se non in parabole,
All these things Jesus said to the am ha-aretz (the common folk of the land, untaught in the schools) am ha-aretzⓘ in parables and did not speak to them except in parables — the interpretation he reserves, apart, for his talmidim (the disciples of the master) talmidimⓘ,

ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος· Ἀνοίξω ἐν παραβολαῖς τὸ στόμα μου, ἐρεύξομαι κεκρυμμένα ἀπὸ ⸀καταβολῆς.
perché si compisse ciò che era stato detto per mezzo del profeta: Aprirò la mia bocca in parabole, proclamerò cose nascoste fin dalla fondazione del mondo.
so that there might be fulfilled what had been spoken through the prophet: «I will open my mouth in parables, I will proclaim things hidden»ⓘ from the foundation of the world.
