Καὶ εὐθέως ⸀ἠνάγκασεν τοὺς μαθητὰς ἐμβῆναι ⸀εἰς πλοῖον καὶ προάγειν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ πέραν, ἕως οὗ ἀπολύσῃ τοὺς ὄχλους.
Subito dopo costrinse i discepoli a salire sulla barca e a precederlo sull'altra riva, finché non avesse congedato la folla.
Immediately afterward he the disciples to get into the boat and to go ahead of him to the other shore, until he had the crowd of the ʽam ha-aretz (the common folk not bound to the purity of the ḥaverim) .

καὶ ἀπολύσας τοὺς ὄχλους ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος κατ’ ἰδίαν προσεύξασθαι. ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης μόνος ἦν ἐκεῖ.
Congedata la folla, salì sul monte, in disparte, a pregare. Venuta la sera, egli se ne stava lassù, da solo.

τὸ δὲ πλοῖον ἤδη ⸂σταδίους πολλοὺς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἀπεῖχεν⸃, βασανιζόμενον ὑπὸ τῶν κυμάτων, ἦν γὰρ ἐναντίος ὁ ἄνεμος.
La barca intanto distava già molte miglia da terra ed era agitata dalle onde: il vento infatti era contrario.

τετάρτῃ δὲ φυλακῇ τῆς νυκτὸς ⸀ἦλθεν πρὸς ⸀αὐτοὺς περιπατῶν ἐπὶ ⸂τὴν θάλασσαν⸃.

⸂οἱ δὲ μαθηταὶ ἰδόντες αὐτὸν⸃ ἐπὶ ⸂τῆς θαλάσσης⸃ περιπατοῦντα ἐταράχθησαν λέγοντες ὅτι Φάντασμά ἐστιν, καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου ἔκραξαν.
Vedendolo camminare sul mare, i discepoli furono sconvolti e dissero: «È un fantasma!», e gridarono dalla paura.
Seeing him advancing over the billows, the disciples were and said: «It is a !», and they cried out in fear.

⸀εὐθὺς δὲ ἐλάλησεν ⸂αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς⸃ λέγων· Θαρσεῖτε, ἐγώ εἰμι· μὴ φοβεῖσθε.
Ma subito Gesù parlò loro dicendo: «Coraggio, sono io, non abbiate paura!».
But at once Jesus spoke to them, saying: «, , do not be afraid!».

Ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ⸂αὐτῷ ὁ Πέτρος εἶπεν⸃· Κύριε, εἰ σὺ εἶ, κέλευσόν με ⸂ἐλθεῖν πρὸς σὲ⸃ ἐπὶ τὰ ὕδατα·
Pietro allora gli rispose: «Signore, se sei tu, comandami di venire da te sulle acque».
Peter then answered him: «, if it is you, to come to you on the waters».

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· Ἐλθέ. καὶ καταβὰς ἀπὸ τοῦ ⸀πλοίου Πέτρος περιεπάτησεν ἐπὶ τὰ ὕδατα ⸂καὶ ἦλθεν⸃ πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
Ed egli disse: «Vieni!». Pietro, sceso dalla barca, camminò sulle acque e andò verso Gesù.
And he said: «!». Peter, having stepped down from the boat, walked on the waters and went toward Jesus.

βλέπων δὲ τὸν ἄνεμον ⸀ἰσχυρὸν ἐφοβήθη, καὶ ἀρξάμενος καταποντίζεσθαι ἔκραξεν λέγων· Κύριε, σῶσόν με.
Ma, vedendo che il vento era forte, ebbe paura e, cominciando ad affondare, gridò: «Signore, salvami!».
But, seeing that the wind was , he was afraid and, beginning to , cried out: «Lord, !».

εὐθέως δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἐπελάβετο αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ· Ὀλιγόπιστε, εἰς τί ἐδίστασας;
E subito Gesù tese la mano, lo afferrò e gli disse: «Uomo di poca fede, perché hai dubitato?».
And immediately Jesus , seized him, and said to him: «, why did you ?».

καὶ ⸀ἀναβάντων αὐτῶν εἰς τὸ πλοῖον ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος.
Appena saliti sulla barca, il vento cessò.
As soon as they had climbed back aboard, the wind .

οἱ δὲ ἐν τῷ ⸀πλοίῳ προσεκύνησαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες· Ἀληθῶς θεοῦ υἱὸς εἶ.
Quelli che erano sulla barca si prostrarono davanti a lui dicendo: «Davvero tu sei Figlio di Dio!».
Those who were in the boat , saying: «Truly you are !».

Καὶ διαπεράσαντες ἦλθον ⸂ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν εἰς⸃ Γεννησαρέτ.
Compiuta la traversata, approdarono a Gennèsaret.

καὶ ἐπιγνόντες αὐτὸν οἱ ἄνδρες τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου ἀπέστειλαν εἰς ὅλην τὴν περίχωρον ἐκείνην, καὶ προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας,
E la gente del luogo, riconosciutolo, diffuse la notizia in tutta la regione; gli portarono tutti i malati

καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἵνα μόνον ἅψωνται τοῦ κρασπέδου τοῦ ἱματίου αὐτοῦ· καὶ ὅσοι ἥψαντο διεσώθησαν.
