Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ⸂ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱεροῦ ἐπορεύετο⸃, καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτῷ τὰς οἰκοδομὰς τοῦ ἱεροῦ·
Mentre Gesù, uscito dal tempio, se ne andava, gli si avvicinarono i suoi discepoli per fargli osservare le costruzioni del tempio.
As Jesus came out of the templeⓘ and was going away, his disciples approached him to point out to him the temple buildingsⓘ.

ὁ δὲ ⸀ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Οὐ βλέπετε ⸂ταῦτα πάντα⸃; ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἀφεθῇ ὧδε λίθος ἐπὶ λίθον ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.
Egli disse loro: «Non vedete tutte queste cose? In verità io vi dico: non sarà lasciata qui pietra su pietra che non venga distrutta».
He said to them: «Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you: not one stone here will be left upon anotherⓘ that will not be thrown down».

Καθημένου δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ὄρους τῶν Ἐλαιῶν προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ κατ’ ἰδίαν λέγοντες· Εἰπὸν ἡμῖν πότε ταῦτα ἔσται, καὶ τί τὸ σημεῖον τῆς σῆς παρουσίας ⸀καὶ συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος.
Mentre era seduto sul monte degli Ulivi, i discepoli gli si avvicinarono in disparte e dissero: «Di' a noi quando accadranno queste cose e quale sarà il segno della tua venuta e della fine del mondo».
As he was sitting on the Mount of Olivesⓘ, the disciples approached him privately and said: «Tell us, when will these thingsⓘ happen, and what will be the sign of your comingⓘ and of the consummation of the ageⓘ?».

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς πλανήσῃ·
Gesù rispose loro: «Badate che nessuno vi inganni!
Jesus answered them: «See that no one leads you astrayⓘ!

πολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου λέγοντες· Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ χριστός, καὶ πολλοὺς πλανήσουσιν.
Molti infatti verranno nel mio nome, dicendo: Io sono il Cristo, e trarranno molti in inganno.
For many will come in my name, saying: I am the Christⓘ, and they will lead many astray.

μελλήσετε δὲ ἀκούειν πολέμους καὶ ἀκοὰς πολέμων· ὁρᾶτε, μὴ θροεῖσθε· δεῖ ⸀γὰρ γενέσθαι, ἀλλ’ οὔπω ἐστὶν τὸ τέλος.
E sentirete di guerre e di rumori di guerre. Guardate di non allarmarvi, perché deve avvenire, ma non è ancora la fine.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of warsⓘ. See that you are not alarmedⓘ, for it must take placeⓘ, but the end is not yet.

ἐγερθήσεται γὰρ ἔθνος ἐπὶ ἔθνος καὶ βασιλεία ἐπὶ βασιλείαν, καὶ ἔσονται ⸀λιμοὶ καὶ σεισμοὶ κατὰ τόπους·
Si solleverà infatti nazione contro nazione e regno contro regno; vi saranno carestie e terremoti in vari luoghi.
For nation will rise against nationⓘ and kingdom against kingdom; there will be famines and earthquakesⓘ in various places.

πάντα δὲ ταῦτα ἀρχὴ ὠδίνων.
Ma tutto questo è solo l'inizio dei dolori.
But all this is only the beginning of the birth painsⓘ.
