GreekὙπέστρεψαν δὲ οἱ ἑβδομήκοντα ⸀δύο μετὰ χαρᾶς λέγοντες· Κύριε, καὶ τὰ δαιμόνια ὑποτάσσεται ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου.
Orthodox ReadingThe seventy-two sent ones (shlichim)ⓘ returned with joy, saying: «Lordⓘ, even the demonsⓘ submit to us in your Nameⓘ».

Greekεἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς· Ἐθεώρουν τὸν Σατανᾶν ὡς ἀστραπὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πεσόντα.

Greekἰδοὺ ⸀δέδωκα ὑμῖν τὴν ἐξουσίαν τοῦ πατεῖν ἐπάνω ὄφεων καὶ σκορπίων, καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν δύναμιν τοῦ ἐχθροῦ, καὶ οὐδὲν ὑμᾶς οὐ μὴ ⸀ἀδικήσῃ.
Orthodox ReadingBeholdⓘ, I have given you the authorityⓘ to tread upon serpents and scorpionsⓘ and over all the power of the enemyⓘ, and nothing shall do you harmⓘ.

Greekπλὴν ἐν τούτῳ μὴ χαίρετε ὅτι τὰ πνεύματα ὑμῖν ὑποτάσσεται, χαίρετε δὲ ὅτι τὰ ὀνόματα ὑμῶν ⸀ἐγγέγραπται ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.
