Ὑπέστρεψαν δὲ οἱ ἑβδομήκοντα ⸀δύο μετὰ χαρᾶς λέγοντες· Κύριε, καὶ τὰ δαιμόνια ὑποτάσσεται ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου.
I settantadue tornarono pieni di gioia, dicendo: «Signore, anche i demòni si sottomettono a noi nel tuo nome».
The seventy-two sent ones (shlichim)ⓘ returned with joy, saying: «Lordⓘ, even the demonsⓘ submit to us in your Nameⓘ».

εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς· Ἐθεώρουν τὸν Σατανᾶν ὡς ἀστραπὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πεσόντα.
Egli disse loro: «Vedevo Satana cadere dal cielo come una folgore.
He said to them: «I was contemplating Satan fall from heaven like lightningⓘ.

ἰδοὺ ⸀δέδωκα ὑμῖν τὴν ἐξουσίαν τοῦ πατεῖν ἐπάνω ὄφεων καὶ σκορπίων, καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν δύναμιν τοῦ ἐχθροῦ, καὶ οὐδὲν ὑμᾶς οὐ μὴ ⸀ἀδικήσῃ.
Ecco, io vi ho dato il potere di camminare sopra serpenti e scorpioni e sopra tutta la potenza del nemico: nulla potrà danneggiarvi.
Beholdⓘ, I have given you the authorityⓘ to tread upon serpents and scorpionsⓘ and over all the power of the enemyⓘ, and nothing shall do you harmⓘ.

πλὴν ἐν τούτῳ μὴ χαίρετε ὅτι τὰ πνεύματα ὑμῖν ὑποτάσσεται, χαίρετε δὲ ὅτι τὰ ὀνόματα ὑμῶν ⸀ἐγγέγραπται ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.
Non rallegratevi però perché i demòni si sottomettono a voi; rallegratevi piuttosto perché i vostri nomi sono scritti nei cieli».
Yet do not rejoiceⓘ in this, that the spiritsⓘ submit to you; rejoice rather that your names are written in the heavensⓘ».
