Greekτῇ δὲ μιᾷ τῶν σαββάτων ὄρθρου βαθέως ⸂ἐπὶ τὸ μνῆμα ἦλθον⸃ φέρουσαι ἃ ἡτοίμασαν ⸀ἀρώματα.

Orthodox ReadingOn the first day after the Shabbatⓘ, the «day one» of the Jewish reckoning, at deep dawnⓘ, they went to the tombⓘ, carrying the spices they had preparedⓘ.

Greekεὗρον δὲ τὸν λίθον ἀποκεκυλισμένον ἀπὸ τοῦ μνημείου,

Greek⸂εἰσελθοῦσαι δὲ⸃ οὐχ εὗρον τὸ ⸀σῶμα.

Orthodox ReadingThey were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of Jamesⓘ. The others too, who were with them, were recounting these things to the apostles, the sent ones (shlichim)ⓘ.

Greekκαὶ ἐφάνησαν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν ὡσεὶ λῆρος τὰ ῥήματα ⸀ταῦτα, καὶ ἠπίστουν αὐταῖς.
