Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις ⸂ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν⸃ εἰς τὸ ὄρος προσεύξασθαι, καὶ ἦν διανυκτερεύων ἐν τῇ προσευχῇ τοῦ θεοῦ.
In quei giorni egli se ne andò sul monte a pregare e passò tutta la notte pregando Dio.
In those days he went out to the mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to Godⓘ.

καὶ ὅτε ἐγένετο ἡμέρα, προσεφώνησεν τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκλεξάμενος ἀπ’ αὐτῶν δώδεκα, οὓς καὶ ἀποστόλους ὠνόμασεν,
Quando fu giorno, chiamò a sé i suoi discepoli e ne scelse dodici, ai quali diede anche il nome di apostoli:
When day came, he called his disciples to himself and chose twelveⓘ of them, to whom he also gave the name of apostlesⓘ:

Καὶ καταβὰς μετ’ αὐτῶν ἔστη ἐπὶ τόπου πεδινοῦ, καὶ ὄχλος ⸀πολὺς μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ, καὶ πλῆθος πολὺ τοῦ λαοῦ ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς Ἰουδαίας καὶ Ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ τῆς παραλίου Τύρου καὶ Σιδῶνος,
Disceso con loro, si fermò in un luogo pianeggiante. C'era gran folla di suoi discepoli e gran moltitudine di gente da tutta la Giudea, da Gerusalemme e dal litorale di Tiro e di Sidone,
Having come down with them, he stopped at a level placeⓘ. There was a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastland of Tyre and Sidonⓘ,

οἳ ἦλθον ἀκοῦσαι αὐτοῦ καὶ ἰαθῆναι ἀπὸ τῶν νόσων αὐτῶν· καὶ οἱ ⸂ἐνοχλούμενοι ἀπὸ⸃ πνευμάτων ⸀ἀκαθάρτων ἐθεραπεύοντο·
che erano venuti per ascoltarlo ed essere guariti dalle loro malattie; anche quelli che erano tormentati da spiriti impuri venivano guariti.
who had come to listen to him and to be healed; even those tormented by impure spirits were being healed.

καὶ πᾶς ὁ ὄχλος ⸀ἐζήτουν ἅπτεσθαι αὐτοῦ, ὅτι δύναμις παρ’ αὐτοῦ ἐξήρχετο καὶ ἰᾶτο πάντας.
Tutta la folla cercava di toccarlo, perché da lui usciva una forza che guariva tutti.
The whole crowd sought to touch himⓘ, because from him went out a powerⓘ that healed everyone.
