Καὶ ὅτε ἐπλήσθησαν ἡμέραι ὀκτὼ τοῦ περιτεμεῖν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἰησοῦς, τὸ κληθὲν ὑπὸ τοῦ ἀγγέλου πρὸ τοῦ συλλημφθῆναι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ κοιλίᾳ.
Quando furono compiuti gli otto giorni prescritti per la circoncisione, gli fu messo nome Gesù, come era stato chiamato dall'angelo prima che fosse concepito nel grembo.
And when eight daysⓘ were fulfilled for his circumcisionⓘ, he was given the name Jesusⓘ, the name spoken by the angelⓘ before he was conceived in the womb.

Καὶ ὅτε ἐπλήσθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ αὐτῶν κατὰ τὸν νόμον Μωϋσέως, ἀνήγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα παραστῆσαι τῷ κυρίῳ,
Quando furono compiuti i giorni della loro purificazione rituale, secondo la legge di Mosè, portarono il bambino a Gerusalemme per presentarlo al Signore -
And when the days of their ritual purificationⓘ were fulfilled according to the Torah of Mosesⓘ, they brought him upⓘ to Jerusalem to present him before the Tetragrammatonⓘ,

καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν νόμῳ κυρίου ὅτι Πᾶν ἄρσεν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ κληθήσεται,
come è scritto nella legge del Signore: Ogni maschio primogenito sarà sacro al Signore -
as it is writtenⓘ in the Torah of the Lord: «Every male that opens the wombⓘ shall be called consecrated to the Tetragrammaton»,

καὶ τοῦ δοῦναι θυσίαν κατὰ τὸ εἰρημένον ἐν τῷ νόμῳ κυρίου, ζεῦγος τρυγόνων ἢ δύο νοσσοὺς περιστερῶν.
e per offrire in sacrificio una coppia di tortore o due giovani colombi, come prescrive la legge del Signore.
and to offer in sacrificeⓘ according to what is said in the Torah of the Lord: «a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeonsⓘ».
