Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν διδάσκων, καὶ ἦσαν καθήμενοι Φαρισαῖοι καὶ νομοδιδάσκαλοι οἳ ἦσαν ἐληλυθότες ἐκ πάσης κώμης τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ Ἰουδαίας καὶ Ἰερουσαλήμ· καὶ δύναμις κυρίου ἦν εἰς τὸ ἰᾶσθαι αὐτόν.
Un giorno stava insegnando. Sedevano là anche dei farisei e maestri della Legge, venuti da ogni villaggio della Galilea e della Giudea, e da Gerusalemme. E la potenza del Signore gli faceva operare guarigioni.
And it came to pass on one of those days that he was teaching, and there sat there the Pharisees (perushim) ⓘ, observant ones, and the teachers of the Torah (nomodidaskaloi) ⓘ, come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord [YHWH] ⓘ was with him to heal.

καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄνδρες φέροντες ἐπὶ κλίνης ἄνθρωπον ὃς ἦν παραλελυμένος καὶ ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν εἰσενεγκεῖν καὶ θεῖναι ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ.
Ed ecco, alcuni uomini, portando su un letto un uomo che era paralizzato, cercavano di farlo entrare e di metterlo davanti a lui.
And behold, some men ⓘ carrying upon a bed a man who was paralyzed ⓘ, and they sought to bring him in and to set him before him.

καὶ μὴ εὑρόντες ποίας εἰσενέγκωσιν αὐτὸν διὰ τὸν ὄχλον ἀναβάντες ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα διὰ τῶν κεράμων καθῆκαν αὐτὸν σὺν τῷ κλινιδίῳ εἰς τὸ μέσον ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ Ἰησοῦ.
Non trovando da quale parte farlo entrare a causa della folla, salirono sul tetto e, attraverso le tegole, lo calarono con il lettuccio davanti a Gesù nel mezzo della stanza.
And, finding no way to bring him in because of the crowd ⓘ, having gone up onto the roof, through the tiles they lowered him with the little bed into the midst, before Jesus.

καὶ ἰδὼν τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶν εἶπεν· Ἄνθρωπε, ἀφέωνταί σοι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου.
Vedendo la loro fede, disse: «Uomo, ti sono perdonati i tuoi peccati».
And, seeing their faith-faithfulness (emunah) ⓘ, he said: «Man, your sins are forgiven you» ⓘ.

καὶ ἤρξαντο διαλογίζεσθαι οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι λέγοντες· Τίς ἐστιν οὗτος ὃς λαλεῖ βλασφημίας; τίς δύναται ἁμαρτίας ἀφεῖναι εἰ μὴ μόνος ὁ θεός;
Gli scribi e i farisei cominciarono a discutere, dicendo: «Chi è costui che dice bestemmie? Chi può perdonare i peccati, se non Dio soltanto?».
And the scribes (soferim) ⓘ and the Pharisees (perushim) began to reason, saying: «Who is this that speaks blasphemies ⓘ? Who can forgive sins except God ⓘ alone?».

ἐπιγνοὺς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς αὐτῶν ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς· Τί διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;
Ma Gesù, conosciuti i loro ragionamenti, rispose: «Perché pensate così nel vostro cuore?
But Jesus, having known their reasonings ⓘ, answering said to them: «What do you reason in your hearts ⓘ?

τί ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν· Ἀφέωνταί σοι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου, ἢ εἰπεῖν· Ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει;
Che cosa è più facile: dire 'Ti sono perdonati i tuoi peccati', oppure dire 'Àlzati e cammina'?
Which is easier, to say: Your sins are forgiven you, or to say: Rise and walk?

ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας — εἶπεν τῷ παραλελυμένῳ· Σοὶ λέγω, ἔγειρε καὶ ἄρας τὸ κλινίδιόν σου πορεύου εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου.
Ora, perché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha il potere sulla terra di perdonare i peccati – disse al paralitico – dico a te: àlzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e torna a casa tua».
Now, that you may know that the Son of Man (Bar Enash) ⓘ has authority ⓘ on earth to forgive sins» — he said to the paralyzed man: «To you I say: rise and, having taken your little bed, go to your house».

καὶ παραχρῆμα ἀναστὰς ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν, ἄρας ἐφ' ὃ κατέκειτο, ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ δοξάζων τὸν θεόν.
Subito egli si alzò davanti a loro, prese il lettuccio su cui era disteso e andò a casa sua, glorificando Dio.
And at once, having risen before them, having taken up that on which he lay, he went to his house glorifying God ⓘ.

καὶ ἔκστασις ἔλαβεν ἅπαντας καὶ ἐδόξαζον τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν φόβου λέγοντες ὅτι Εἴδομεν παράδοξα σήμερον.
Tutti furono colti da stupore e davano gloria a Dio; pieni di timore dicevano: «Oggi abbiamo visto cose prodigiose».
And amazement (ekstasis) ⓘ seized them all, and they glorified God, and they were filled with reverential awe ⓘ, saying: «We have seen paradoxical things (paradoxa) ⓘ today ⓘ».
