GreekΚαὶ ἀναστὰν ἅπαν τὸ πλῆθος αὐτῶν ἤγαγον αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὸν Πιλᾶτον.
Orthodox Reading* And the whole of their assembly rose up and led him to Pilate Pilateⓘ. *

Greekἤρξαντο δὲ κατηγορεῖν αὐτοῦ λέγοντες· Τοῦτον εὕραμεν διαστρέφοντα τὸ ἔθνος ἡμῶν καὶ κωλύοντα φόρους Καίσαρι διδόναι καὶ λέγοντα ἑαυτὸν Χριστὸν βασιλέα εἶναι.
Orthodox Reading* And they began to accuse him: «We found this man subverting our nation nationⓘ, forbidding the tributes to Caesar tributesⓘ and calling himself Mašiaḥ Mašiaḥⓘ, a king». *

Greekὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν λέγων· Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ ἔφη· Σὺ λέγεις.
Orthodox Reading* And Pilate questioned him: «Are you the king of the Judeans king of the Judeansⓘ?». And he, answering, declared: «You say so». *

Greekὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ὄχλους· Οὐδὲν εὑρίσκω αἴτιον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ.
Orthodox Reading* And Pilate said to the archiereis (the kohanim of the leadership) archiereisⓘ and to the crowds of am ha-aretz (the common folk gathered there) am ha-aretzⓘ: «I find nothing worthy of condemnation in this man». *

Greekοἱ δὲ ἐπίσχυον λέγοντες ὅτι Ἀνασείει τὸν λαὸν διδάσκων καθ' ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, καὶ ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ἕως ὧδε.
Orthodox Reading* But they insisted: «He stirs up the people peopleⓘ, teaching throughout Judea, from Galilee Galileeⓘ all the way to here».
