Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ ὄρος προσεύξασθαι, καὶ ἦν διανυκτερεύων ἐν τῇ προσευχῇ τοῦ θεοῦ.
In quei giorni egli se ne andò sul monte a pregare e passò tutta la notte pregando Dio.
It came to pass in those days that he went out to the mountainⓘ to prayⓘ, and he spent the whole night keeping vigil in prayerⓘ directed to God.

καὶ ὅτε ἐγένετο ἡμέρα, προσεφώνησεν τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκλεξάμενος ἀπ' αὐτῶν δώδεκα, οὓς καὶ ἀποστόλους ὠνόμασεν·
Quando fu giorno, chiamò a sé i suoi discepoli e ne scelse dodici, ai quali diede anche il nome di apostoli:
And when day came, he called his disciples to himselfⓘ, and he chose from among them twelveⓘ, just as the Tetragrammatonⓘ chose Israel and the Levites for his service, and these twelve he also named apostlesⓘ, the formal institution of the Twelve as messianic assembly (Bet Din).
