καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Δοκεῖτε ὅτι οἱ Γαλιλαῖοι οὗτοι ἁμαρτωλοὶ παρὰ πάντας τοὺς Γαλιλαίους ἐγένοντο, ὅτι ταῦτα πεπόνθασιν;
And he answered and said to them: «Do you think that these Galileans were sinners sinnersⓘ more than all the Galileans, because they suffered these things?

4
ἢ ἐκεῖνοι οἱ δεκαοκτὼ ἐφ' οὓς ἔπεσεν ὁ πύργος ἐν τῷ Σιλωὰμ καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτούς, δοκεῖτε ὅτι αὐτοὶ ὀφειλέται ἐγένοντο παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ἰερουσαλήμ;
Or those eighteen upon whom the tower of Siloam Siloamⓘ fell and killed them, do you think that they were debtors debtorsⓘ more than all the men menⓘ who dwell in Jerusalem Jerusalemⓘ?
5
No, I tell you; but unless you do teshuvah, you will all perish in the same way».
