Ἤγοντο δὲ καὶ ἕτεροι κακοῦργοι δύο σὺν αὐτῷ ἀναιρεθῆναι.

Insieme con lui venivano condotti a morte anche altri due, che erano malfattori.

Two others were also led away with him, both malefactorsⓘ, men guilty of crimes, to be put to deathⓘ.

Καὶ ὅτε ἦλθον ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Κρανίον, ἐκεῖ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς κακούργους, ὃν μὲν ἐκ δεξιῶν ὃν δὲ ἐξ ἀριστερῶν.

Quando giunsero sul luogo chiamato Cranio, vi crocifissero lui e i malfattori, uno a destra e l'altro a sinistra.

And when they came to the Place that is called Skullⓘ, there they crucified himⓘ, and with him the two malefactors, the one at his right and the other at his left.

[[ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγεν· Πάτερ, ἄφες αὐτοῖς, οὐ γὰρ οἴδασιν τί ποιοῦσιν.]] διαμεριζόμενοι δὲ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἔβαλον κλήρους.

Gesù diceva: «Padre, perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno». Poi dividendo le sue vesti, le tirarono a sorte.

And Jesus kept saying: «Fatherⓘ, forgive them this faultⓘ, for they do not know what they are doing». Meanwhile, dividing his garments among themselvesⓘ, they cast lotsⓘ to apportion them.

καὶ εἱστήκει ὁ λαὸς θεωρῶν. ἐξεμυκτήριζον δὲ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες λέγοντες· Ἄλλους ἔσωσεν, σωσάτω ἑαυτόν, εἰ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστὸς τοῦ θεοῦ ὁ ἐκλεκτός.

Il popolo stava a vedere; i capi invece lo deridevano dicendo: «Ha salvato altri! Salvi se stesso, se è lui il Cristo di Dio, l'eletto».

And the peopleⓘ stood there still, looking onⓘ; but the rulersⓘ sneered at himⓘ saying: «He saved others, let him save himselfⓘ, if he really is the Messiah of God, the Chosen Oneⓘ».

ἐνέπαιξαν δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται προσερχόμενοι, ὄξος προσφέροντες αὐτῷ

Anche i soldati lo deridevano, gli si accostavano per porgergli dell'aceto

The soldiersⓘ also mocked him, approaching him and offering him vinegarⓘ —

καὶ λέγοντες· Εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων, σῶσον σεαυτόν.

e dicevano: «Se tu sei il re dei Giudei, salva te stesso».

and saying: «If you are the King of the Jewsⓘ, save yourself!».

ἦν δὲ καὶ ἐπιγραφὴ ἐπ' αὐτῷ· Ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων οὗτος.

Sopra di lui c'era anche una scritta: «Costui è il re dei Giudei».
