Ἐπερωτηθεὶς δὲ ὑπὸ τῶν Φαρισαίων πότε ἔρχεται ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς καὶ εἶπεν· Οὐκ ἔρχεται ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ μετὰ παρατηρήσεως,
I farisei gli domandarono quando sarebbe venuto il regno di Dio. Egli rispose: «Il regno di Dio non viene in modo da attirare l'attenzione,
The Pharisees (perushim)ⓘ, the observant ones, asked him when the kingdom of God would comeⓘ. He answered: «The kingdom of God does not come in a way that draws attentionⓘ,

οὐδὲ ἐροῦσιν· Ἰδοὺ ὧδε ἤ· ⸀Ἐκεῖ· ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἐντὸς ὑμῶν ἐστιν.
e nessuno dirà: Eccolo qui, o: Eccolo là. Perché, ecco, il regno di Dio è in mezzo a voi!».
nor will it be said: Here it is or there. For, behold, the kingdom of God is in your midstⓘ!».

Εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητάς· Ἐλεύσονται ἡμέραι ὅτε ἐπιθυμήσετε μίαν τῶν ἡμερῶν τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἰδεῖν καὶ οὐκ ὄψεσθε.
Disse poi ai discepoli: «Verranno giorni in cui desidererete vedere anche uno solo dei giorni del Figlio dell'uomo, ma non lo vedrete.
Then he said to his disciples talmidimⓘ: «Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of manⓘ, but you will not see it.

καὶ ἐροῦσιν ὑμῖν· Ἰδοὺ ⸂ἐκεῖ· Ἰδοὺ ὧδε⸃· μὴ ἀπέλθητε μηδὲ διώξητε.
Vi diranno: Eccolo là, o: Eccolo qui; non andateci, non seguiteli.
They will tell you: There it is or here; do not follow themⓘ.

ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ⸀ἀστραπὴ ἀστράπτουσα ἐκ τῆς ⸂ὑπὸ τὸν⸃ οὐρανὸν εἰς τὴν ὑπ’ οὐρανὸν λάμπει, οὕτως ἔσται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ⸂ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ⸃.
Perché come la folgore, guizzando, brilla da un capo all'altro del cielo, così sarà il Figlio dell'uomo nel suo giorno.
As the lightningⓘ shines from one end of heaven to the other, so will the Son of manⓘ be in his day.

πρῶτον δὲ δεῖ αὐτὸν πολλὰ παθεῖν καὶ ἀποδοκιμασθῆναι ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης.
Ma prima è necessario che egli soffra molto e venga rifiutato da questa generazione.
But first he must suffer much and be rejected by this generationⓘ.

καὶ καθὼς ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Νῶε, οὕτως ἔσται καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου·
Come avvenne nei giorni di Noè, così sarà nei giorni del Figlio dell'uomo:
As in the days of Noahⓘ:

ἤσθιον, ἔπινον, ἐγάμουν, ⸀ἐγαμίζοντο, ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας εἰσῆλθεν Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, καὶ ἦλθεν ὁ κατακλυσμὸς καὶ ἀπώλεσεν ⸀πάντας.
mangiavano, bevevano, prendevano moglie e marito, fino al giorno in cui Noè entrò nell'arca e venne il diluvio e li fece morire tutti.
they kept eating, drinking, taking wives and husbandsⓘ, until the day when Noah entered the ark and the flood came.

ὁμοίως ⸀καθὼς ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Λώτ· ἤσθιον, ἔπινον, ἠγόραζον, ἐπώλουν, ἐφύτευον, ᾠκοδόμουν·
Come avvenne anche nei giorni di Lot: mangiavano, bevevano, compravano, vendevano, piantavano, costruivano;
As in the days of Lotⓘ:

ᾗ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ ἐξῆλθεν Λὼτ ἀπὸ Σοδόμων, ἔβρεξεν πῦρ καὶ θεῖον ἀπ’ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀπώλεσεν ⸀πάντας.
ma nel giorno in cui Lot uscì da Sòdoma piovve fuoco e zolfo dal cielo e li fece morire tutti.
but when Lot went out of Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down.

κατὰ ⸂τὰ αὐτὰ⸃ ἔσται ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἀποκαλύπτεται.
Così accadrà nel giorno in cui il Figlio dell'uomo si manifesterà.
So in the day when the Son of man will be manifestedⓘ.

ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὃς ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ δώματος καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ, μὴ καταβάτω ἆραι αὐτά, καὶ ὁ ⸀ἐν ἀγρῷ ὁμοίως μὴ ἐπιστρεψάτω εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω.
In quel giorno, chi si troverà sulla terrazza e avrà lasciato le sue cose in casa, non scenda a prenderle; così chi si troverà nel campo non torni indietro.
Whoever is on the housetop shall not go down to take the things in the house; whoever is in the field let him not turn backⓘ.

μνημονεύετε τῆς γυναικὸς Λώτ.
Ricordatevi della moglie di Lot.
Remember Lot's wifeⓘ.

ὃς ἐὰν ζητήσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ⸀περιποιήσασθαι ἀπολέσει αὐτήν, ⸂ὃς δ’ ἂν⸃ ⸀ἀπολέσῃ ζῳογονήσει αὐτήν.
Chi cercherà di salvare la propria vita, la perderà; ma chi la perderà, la manterrà viva.
Whoever seeks to save his own life will lose itⓘ; whoever loses it will keep it alive.

λέγω ὑμῖν, ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ ἔσονται δύο ἐπὶ κλίνης μιᾶς, ⸀ὁ εἷς παραλημφθήσεται καὶ ὁ ἕτερος ἀφεθήσεται·
Io vi dico: in quella notte, due si troveranno nello stesso letto: l'uno verrà portato via e l'altro lasciato;
In that night, two in the same bed: the one will be taken and the other leftⓘ;

⸂ἔσονται δύο⸃ ἀλήθουσαι ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό, ⸀ἡ μία παραλημφθήσεται ⸂ἡ δὲ⸃ ἑτέρα ⸀ἀφεθήσεται.
due donne macineranno insieme: l'una verrà portata via e l'altra lasciata».

καὶ ἀποκριθέντες λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· Ποῦ, κύριε; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Ὅπου τὸ σῶμα, ἐκεῖ ⸂καὶ οἱ ἀετοὶ ἐπισυναχθήσονται⸃.
Allora gli chiesero: «Dove, Signore?». Ed egli rispose: «Dove sarà il cadavere, lì si raduneranno insieme anche le aquile».
«Where, Lordⓘ?». «Where the corpse is, there the eagles will gatherⓘ».
