Orthodox ReadingAnd there was Annaⓘ, a prophetessⓘ, daughter of Phanuelⓘ, of the tribe of Asherⓘ. She, advanced in many daysⓘ, had lived with a husbandⓘ seven years from her virginity,

Greekκαὶ αὐτὴ χήρα ἕως ἐτῶν ὀγδοήκοντα τεσσάρων, ἣ οὐκ ἀφίστατο τοῦ ἱεροῦ νηστείαις καὶ δεήσεσιν λατρεύουσα νύκτα καὶ ἡμέραν.
