GreekΠωλήσατε τὰ ὑπάρχοντα ὑμῶν καὶ δότε ἐλεημοσύνην· ποιήσατε ἑαυτοῖς βαλλάντια μὴ παλαιούμενα, θησαυρὸν ἀνέκλειπτον ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, ὅπου κλέπτης οὐκ ἐγγίζει οὐδὲ σὴς διαφθείρει·
Orthodox ReadingSell your possessions — what you hold as landed property — and give them as alms of justice almsⓘ, redistributing to the poor according to the commandment; make for yourselves in this way purses pursesⓘ that do not wear out and do not grow old, an inexhaustible treasure in the heavens treasure in the heavensⓘ, there where the thief thiefⓘ does not draw near nor does the moth mothⓘ gnaw and destroy: heavensⓘ the heavenly treasure knows nothing of the decay of the earthly one.

Greekὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρὸς ὑμῶν, ἐκεῖ καὶ ἡ καρδία ὑμῶν ἔσται.
